I am reviewing: Clear Edge Corner Protector Baby Proofing, Self-Adhesive Soft Strip Sharp Edge Protective Bumper Guards for Child Safety, Cabinet Door Desk Glass Table Bed Window Wall, Kitchen Countertop, 1.18INx3FTI installed these on my shower tiles to protect an elderly person from injury. The lump design helps provide a bit of traction, as does the overall texture of the top side. I used a tool to flatten out the air trapped under the tape, and it seems to have roughed up the surface a bit. I finished it off just using my thumbs. Not difficult, just tedious.My one concern would be that the bend in the center is the part that covers the actual corner. It would be better for the thicker portion of the tape to cover that sharp corner. I don't feel like it is a deal breaker, and it kind of depends upon what type of surface you're protecting. On my tiles, the edges are not as sharp, just hard, so the two centermost bumps still come in contact with any part of the body that comes in contact with that edge, plus, these are wider than other brands I've used.The adhesive sticks very well. The tapes are not very noticeable.

This is an interesting product. My idea for using it was on my basement stairs. I live in a very old home and the basement stairs are made of native timber (really strong wood). At some point they were covered with vinyl flooring and then had a metal edge screwed on. These are getting really old and the ends of the strips are coming loose and are kind of sharp. So, there is enough in this roll to do 2 of the steps so I chose the last two. The really unique part of this edge strip is that is is designed to work in a variety of settings. I chose to use it as 2x4 - 2 portions to cover the front of the stair then bent with 4 parts on the top of the step. After cleaning the area thoroughly I cut the edge strip to size and put it in place. The adhesive did a really good job but I took it a step further. I had cut a couple pieces of wood strip which I then placed over the edge protector and clamped in place to help the adhesive really take a good grip. This seems to have worked well.Another unique feature of this edge protector is the ridges. While I originally was not a fan, I liked how they have worked out. I am often barefoot around the house. As I go down the stairs I get confirmation I am at the last two steps from stepping on the ridged portion. The ridges are not that big but they are enough that I can feel them.The downside is that this is an expensive product. But, it is a very good product.

This edge protector strip is constructed from sturdy PVC, which helps to soften sharp corners, but it offers minimal cushioning. Its slim width is suitable for narrow spaces where thicker foam strips may not fit. I attempted to apply this product on a curved surface, but it didn’t stay on.

These are perfect for sharp counter corners or even coffee tables or dining tables. It’s very flexible and also quite wide, so you could cut each strip length wide if needed! The material is soft and saves kiddos from scratches

Great edge to edge protection easy to set up and easy to remove when finished. With kids running around the house it’s easy to. See that next fall happening put in place the corner protectors efficiently soften the impact if a trip or fall were to occur.

I got this to protect my husband's head lol we have a very pointy vent hood over our stove, and he keeps hitting his head on it. This tape sticks so good, and does exactly what I need it to. You sort of fold it in half, sticking each side around the edge. It's good, get it!

This corner protector is pretty great, it fits with your furniture better, sticks right on from one end bc the adhesive is already built in, and has pretty good coverage in that it is wider than most of those foam guys.However… the longest bunch is 6ft whereas most of those foam rolls come with 10ft minimum. Also those foam rolls are thicker and softer so technically they’re safer if it’s to prevent falls and bumps.This tape is more for sharp corners on low objects not necessarily for bump protection but more like accidental swipe and cut protection.Do NOT let this replace the foam stuff, but using this in conjunction with the foam stuff is a good idea.
