We hung this in out barn abt hang saddle pads on it. It hold a lot of pads and gives them space to dry. It collapses to stay out of the way when not being used. It was also easy to install. I highly recommend

This retractable drying rack fits the space in my laundry room just as I hoped. However, it is so flimsy feeling that my husband had to put clear packing tape around the horizontal bar you see in the foreground. The bars are not one piece. It also feels so flimsy that my husband is afraid it will fall apart if I retract it and pull it out as I had hoped. It holds very lightweight items such as socks but I'm not sure it would hold something like a wool sweater. That's the downside to shopping online. You can't look and touch the item. I will keep it because removing it would leave holes in my wall.
