This piano bench is just the right size and is very sturdy. Wood is glossy, but the top padding brings the shine downso it better matches the color of my piano. My only caution is that it definitely takes two people to put the legs on.You have to keep the top open while you attach the legs from the inside...so it was a bit tricky. But, when we finally gotit together, I was very pleased with the look and weight of the bench.

Very nice gloss walnut finish that matches the picture in the description well. Well constructed, sturdy bench. Easy assembly and super fast shipping. Note that there is a small "CPS Imports" screened in gold on one side of the bench. Not too noticeable, but not really appropriate for a piece of furniture this nice. All in all, a really great value.

I have to say this is the most fabulous piece of furniture I have bought in awhile! It's a piano bench but I bought 2 of them; one to go in the kitchen as a place for someone to sit and chat with the cook, and the other as an extra sitting for around the dining room table. The one in the kitchen is where I keep appliance manuals and my family cookbook. The finish is unlike any I have seen on furniture like this. If you are familiar with the kind of finish on furniture like Baker, this is an exact match!! Beautiful! (Mine is in walnut).

We've had this for a few months and we've already had to tighten the legs several times. The color and design is nice and I love the quality of the bench portion, but the legs and how they're attached could use some work.

Great value. Item was shipped quickly and was packed securely. Minimal assembly required. Just need to bolt the four legs to the seat box and you are ready to use the piano bench. The legs are made of solid wood. The aprons are made of plywood. The bench color is light-medium brown, very glossy. NOT WALNUT colored, i.e. dark brown. Seat is solid when assembled. For $90, you can not buy a better quality piano bench.
