I liked the fact that this mat is very soft.I dislike the fact that this mat DOES NOT GET WARMI WOULD NOT BUY THIS BRAND (WALOO) every again.

The self-heating feature is great for my outside cats during fairly cool weather. They lounge around on them even on warmer days. I have 10 mats so they have no excuse for being cold.

Like other reviewers, I'm skeptical about the "self-warming" aspect, but the mat is soft and our foster kittens like to sleep on it (see photo). The rainbow stripes are bright and cheerful and in the correct rainbow order!

My cat likes anything but what is made for her. I put the mat on floor by the heater thinking she go to it-nope! I left the mat on the floor for a week and finally she slept on it. She is warm and comfortable.
