ECO-TRIM backing allows you to use the finishing disc for a long term, as it can be trimmed. This trimming feature helps reveal fresh abrasive grains and customize the diameter. The flap disc can be employed on steel and stainless steel surfaces. Coated at the top, grinding flap disc stays cool and lubricated for ascertaining that sanding or grinding procedures are performed with smoothness.

These work very well for sharpening lawn mower blades. They are not so aggressive that they get the blade hot but instead allow a controlled removal of material.

If you do the math you realize how pricey these are. But they seem to me to be quite durable and worth the spend.

Some of the best quality discs for the money. Walter has knocked it out of the park in designing these flap discs. While I prefer the spin on version the amazon price for these was much better than the local welding supplier. They last forever and take down material quickly. You won’t be disappointed

I can't say enough about how well these disks perform! All my welding projects are actually being completed much faster as less time is being spent on prep and cleanup when needed. They last a good long time and are easy to trim the plastic away to reveal more metal-eating abrasive flaps.

Outstanding product been using for 6 months and I've only used one, most of the other grinding wheels I've used would have wore out 3 times by now
