Thick, warm, and comfortable. The only thing to be aware of as you throw all your old socks away, is the sizes tend to run small. If you always wore 9 - 11, buy extra large.

I'm re-reviewing these socks. I wore a pair once and washed them. They began to pill and unravel after a single use. I bought these for skiing and wish to return them now. I don't recommend buying these socks.

These are exceptionally stretchy, medium thickness,very soft feeling socks. Not as warm as my wool blend ski socks. The threads pull easily - I brushed the socks against my velcro jacket closures and it pulled out a bunch of threads and threads are coming out in random other places also.These socks are evenly padded (not just shins and heels for example) and they feel very spongy/cushiony which would be nice for hiking but I prefer thinner socks for skiing. They are super stretchy so can fit larger feet than the intended size.

Love these socks. I wore them skiing in single digit to high teens temps. My feet stayed warm and dry despite the relative thinness of the socks. My toes did get chilly. As temps dropped while standing around waiting for a shuttle. The socks fit great and were incredibly soft.

I haven’t been able to try these socks on the slopes yet, but in trying them on with my ski boots, they felt very comfortable and flexible. I wear a size 10 shoe, and they fit perfectly; however, because they are so flexible, I’m quite sure they would fit a range of sizes. Looking forward to giving them the real-world test soon.
