This is one of several food heating mats I have received. I dare say this is the my favorite for the following reasons:1) large size, 15” x 30” not including the control panel bar; 2) wide range of heating all the way up to 248° - others heat up to 212° on average; 3) controls are very responsive and easy to understand/navigate; and 4) half inch silicon feet throughout the bottom surface of the pad to keep hard surface from getting hot (and although I could feel no heat underneath the mat, the advisory is to not put it on certain services). That being said, it heats up fairly quickly, within 5 to 10 minutes and cool down can take 15 minutes depending on how hot it is but the good thing is that it has a timer and you can set a timer so that I can be ready to pack away upon completion of event. Electric cord fits snuggly so it will not pull out easily. Due to the large size you can easily fit three 13 x 9 vessels and a few smaller ones in between or four to six round casserole dishes (depending on size). It heats up to 248°, which is more than enough to keep vessels, warm, if not hot. It comes with a nice bag and a nice silicone strap with a snap versus a Velcro strap to keep it in place in the carry bag. This heating pad is different than my others as you can actually see the heating coil on the underside of the mat which caused me concern at first but it seems to be fine (where is others are enclosed in the top and underside of the silicone). The color is a nice sage green and as others you only wipe them down- do not immerse them in water. Overall, this is my favorite heating mat and it is definitely worth the purchase for entertainment purposes! I wouldn’t hesitate on this one at all!

Don't hesitate, grab this!! I have the traditional metal warming tray that I used for years but it takes up space & you have to wait for it to cool to pack up. I have a much smaller mat like this so when I saw the size of this one I knew I had to have it. This mat is my favorite! First, the temp is in Fahrenheit (my smaller mat is in Celsius) & it warms up to 250 in less than 10 minutes. It has a child lock and my countertop didn't get hot. You can put metal, glass & plastic dishes on it. When you're done you don't need to wait for it to cool, just wrap it up. Total game changer!

Just used the Warming Mat for Food with 9 Temp Settings,1-6 Hours Timer,Fast Even Heat in 8s,Rollable Quality Silicone Food Warmer,Portable Heat Pad, Auto Shut-Off Electric Warming Tray for Buffets,Party,Thaw Gifts by Alfolo over the holidays. It was great for holiday get togethers where everyone is just grazing buffet style. The silicone is thick and durable, and it heats up quickly and evenly. It looks great on my kitchen table, and the included band makes it easy to store. I also like the different temperature settings so you can adjust it up or down as needed. Cleanup is quite easy as well with a simple wipe-down. While the mat isn't quite as large as depicted (we couldn't fit 6 family size dishes or pots on there - just 2-3), it does the job. We easily swapped out appetizers, then mains, then warmed pies for dessert.
