The Wasabi Power BL-5 Battery Chamber Cover is a replacement for Nikon BL5 to be used with a EN-EL18 battery with certain grips. This cover connects to the ENEL18 battery to allow the use of battery grip for extended shooting and increased frames FPS.
Note: Battery and Grip sold separately

I purchased this to go with my Nikon D850 grip however it is about 1/16" too short. This means with the battery in it does not make good contact with the contacts inside the grip. I am not sure if this is an issue with the Wasabi battery or the Wasabi Battery Chamber cover. If I insert the battery and then place a 1/16" space between the end of the battery and the cover than everything works fine. Very disappointing! Edited Dec 27,2023 - I purchased a Nikon BL-5 and that worked great with the Wasabi battery. So the problem is with this product! The BL-5 is not that much more expensive on Amazon and the risk that your battery would be intermittent on an important trip is not worth the risk!

Purchased two of these battery chamber covers. Attach to Wasabi EN-EL18 batteries just fine. Manufacturing tolerance however means, one fits and functions just right. While the other is pretty snug and there is some efforted expended to get it and the battery out of the battery grip on my D850. Otherwise, for the money, they're good to go. 4.5 stars would be a better rating.
