I used these to hook up a new washing machine. It is in a closet, so the 4-foot length worked great. I appreciated the quality and the value. The installer wanted $20 per hose for a braided hose, so these saved me money.

These hoses give me peace of mind for my laundry room. The plumber said they are excellent quality and should last many years! I also love that hot is red and cold is blue!

Pay attention when handling the hoses, as some of the steel braiding material was protruding out in the area of the fitting on the end. Very sharp and cut my finger. Other wise product was good.

Not impressed my old cold hose didn't have a condensation problem the entire cold hose sweats.

Replaced 10+ year old 4 ft rubber hoses with these 6 ft hoses. I wanted 5 ft replacement hoses, but have no regrets getting these 6 ft. The new ones next to the old ones looked so much more durable, and I can sleep better knowing the 1500 psi burst protection is over 10x what I need. New hoses seemed sufficiently pliable to twist and turn in back of my washer when I move washer in and out.As an aside, whenever I install rubber against metal on my car or home, I always coat the rubber contact surface with silicone grease. This protects the rubber, improves the seal, as well as make it easier to remove the attachment at a future time. Thus I coat the mating surface of the rubber washers in these hose ends with a film of silicone grease, and the threads as well. I use either "plumbers grease" or "automotive sil-glyde grease" readily available on Amazon.

I had 20 year old rubber hoses ... I know a guy who just incurred 50,000 in water damage when his hose burst in a two story house, terrible. These hoses are awesome, got the 6 ft. length (instead of 30 inches) so I can eventually move the washer outside next to the dryer, with enough length to reach the spigots. The build quality is outstanding, inner hose, metal braid, colored PVC on top. The 90 degree bend on one side allows a flush connection to the washer. Great product. It is made in China, but I gotta tell 'ya, it's great ... and yes, I've given up on Chinese junk in a number of areas, most notably flashlights that start corroding from day 1. I saw these at Home Depot, ended up ordering at Amazon for the convenience ... in any case, I think it's a really well done item.

Just installed the Washing Machine Hoses Stainless Steel Braided Washer hose - 6 ft Burst Proof new hoses to my, just purchased, used washing machine. Altho I had the "old" hoses, I feel an ounce of prevention...is a good idea. Received hoses a day early, so...so far so good! Installed them last eve. Product feels very substantial. I love the color coding...one hose is blue and the other...yep, red. This hose has a 90 degree angle on one side of the fitting which makes it easy to snug the machine close to the wall. In the "test" run I did last eve, all worked well. Because of the feel of quality, I expect these will perform well. Oh, I spent the couple extra dollars because I live in a desert climate; up to 125 in the summer and the washer/dryer are in the garage. I'll update this if necessary, but am confident I made the right choice. PS: altho not this company's product, I also replaced the drain hose for the same logic. Thanks, C
