Pretty purple and white camo dumbbells and ankle floats. I giggled that the soup in the same order was so heavy and the "weights" so light 😁They are just the right amount of difficult to submerge, like backward weights. I'm pleased.The strap on the ankle wrap confused me, but I figured out which way the velcro goes.The dumbbells are pretty and fun to work with.

This is a good water aerobics set. The dumbbells are sturdy and easy to hold and push around underwater. The cuffs can open quite a bit to accommodate wrists, ankles and more. The extra length of the cuffs also gives them more resistance under water which is good. Unfortunately, the strap doesn't really hold them securely and they can slip around or have the strap slip off the cuff. It would help if the strap was on the cuff more securely.

In only 4.5' of pool water, with the ankle wraps on and both dumbbells submerged, I'm within an ounce or two of being neutrally buoyant, so it's VERY difficult to keep my feet on the bottom of the pool even though my shoulders are completely out of the water. Walking with all of this floatation equipment on is LIKE WALKING ON THE MOON - it looks like the astronauts looked when they hopped around in 1/6th Gee instead of striding like we normally do here in Earth gravity. Man, is it ever challenging to do (and so much fun, too)!But, in addition to the tremendous joys and flops of psuedo-moonwalking, if you just stop moving while you have both ankle wraps on and a dumbbell in each hand you will float with absolutely no motion needed on your part at all. In a spread-eagled you'll feel some of the most relaxing sensations you've ever felt in water. This works equally well in a pool, a lake, or in a hot tub - it's pure heaven.Coincidentally, each dumbbell can deliver a surprisingly large amount of resistance when moved rapidly through the water, so they can be used for exercise or rehab when it's important to be easy on the joints. Similarly, wearing the ankle wraps adds a degree of difficulty to walking in water, and they're excellent for improving your sense of balance.So, although these look like they're silly children's toys I urge you, as one adult to another, to buy these things & try them out for yourself. If you enjoy being in the water (hot, lukewarm, or cold) like I do, you are probably going to flat-out love these things. So buy 'em, try 'em, and if they're not to your liking, give them to someone who still has a streak of childish fun inside 'em. 5 stars

I got these as I've used similar dumbells in the pool at physical therapy. They perform just as well as the ones at PT and better than some I have used at other places - plus they have a really cool pattern vs plain blue! The gym pool I am going to doesn't allow the sand style ankle weights so I thought these wrap around ones would be perfect as they are foam and no sand. The work but they are really big around my ankles and feels huge.. but they are providing good resistance in the water. They look more like a spiral around vs the ad photo. The actual "hole" when closed like shown in photo is only about an inch. Took a little bit to get used to putting them on just right so that they stayed correctly in place when moving around. Once I figured that out they work like a charm. If you don't mind something pretty big around your ankles... these are comfortable and do the trick. Also good for wrapping around wrists and arms. They show you can also wrap around your waist.. but I've got awhile to go before I can dream of doing that - if your skinny, you probably won't have an issue. The Foam of the dumbbells and cuffs is good quality dense foam. I expect these to last several years if taken care of. Recommend!

I absolutely love the color of these. The marbled purple really stands out so when I take them to my Aquafit class they really stand out from the others. They come in pieces and must be assembled but it was easy to do. The foam feels nice though some of the white parts of mine are slightly yellowed. I am not bothered by it. Overall quality seems good and on par with ones that my pool uses if not a little better. These ones are larger than what a usual beginner uses so they will give really good resistance but some may need to work up to these. I cannot for the life of me figure out how to use the cuffs right and if I did get them on they would be so bulky that it would be hard to move. I will gladly use the dumbbells but the cuffs won't get used.
