About this item

  • MILITARY-GRADE A420 ALUMINUM – Our RV anode rod is made of high-grade aluminum-zinc alloy meeting U.S. Mil-A-18001K/W standard specification for superior resistance and protection against corrosion.
  • PREVENTS UNPLEASANT SMELL IN HOT WATER - Eliminate the sulfur, rotten egg smell in your hot water caused by hydrogen sulfide and the reaction between the water and the magnesium anode rod, thanks to our high-quality aluminum-zinc anode rod.
  • FITS SUBURBAN RV WATER HEATERS – Our 9.25-inch-long RV anode rod for hot water heater fits every Suburban and Mor-Flo RV water heater which are standard 3/4" NPT thread including Suburban water heater models from 6 to 12 gallons: SW6D, SW6DE, SW6DEL, SW10DE, SW10D, SW12DE, SW12DEL, SAW6D, SAW6DE, SAW6DEL, and more.
  • THICK 3/4" DIAMETER – Suburban anode rod for rv water heater has a thick 3/4" diameter, providing more material to sacrifice than the 5/8" diameter used by some competitors' products.
  • PACK OF 4 – Comes in a convenient pack of 4 replacement rv hot water heater anode rods, providing more protection by giving you the opportunity to change the anode as soon as you need it. Our anodes replace all Suburban anode rods including 232767, 232768, 233516, 233514, and more.
  • STANDARD 1-1/16" SOCKET FOUND IN EACH BASIC SOCKET KITS - A 1-1/16" socket and teflon sealing tape are required to remove the old anode from your water heater and install the new one. In the rare case that a 12-point socket starts to strip the anode, we suggest using a 6-point socket to prevent damage to the head and for easier removal and installation.
  • LIFETIME WARRANTY – Benefit from a lifetime warranty on our rv water heater anode rod, ensuring it protects your tank from corrosion throughout the anode's entire lifespan.
  • PROUDLY AMERICAN SINCE 1996 – Trusted and reliable, our company has been providing top-quality water heater products to Americans since 1996.
  • DOES NOT FIT ATWOOD RV WATER HEATERS – Water Connection anode rod for RV does not fit any water heaters from the Atwood brand, which use a 1/2" NPT thread.
  • EXTEND YOUR RV WATER HEATER'S LIFE – The Suburban anode rod plays a crucial role in protecting your water heater from corrosion. By replacing it when it is 50% depleted, you can prevent hard water damage, extend your water heater's lifespan, and save time and money on repairs.

I recently had to replace my hot water heater in my 5th wheel. I live in it full time. As I was researching these expensive units, I found the reason for my hot water (especially in the shower) smelling a bit like sulfur, it is the anode rod in the heater. These are a pretty cool invention as they degrade as you use the heater to prevent it from rusting (a simplified explanation of its purpose, I know, but...) The usual ones are magnesium which accounts for the smell. These are aluminum and so far, no smell. I recommend them if you prefer your water to smell like water. They are a bit more to buy, but how often do you really change them? The manufacturer recommends every 6 months. I'm going to say that most people will do this once a year. I have very hard water so mine will be every 6 months.

Finally rid my RV of rotten eggs smell in my water. I did use magnesium in my hot water tank which was the culprit. After using these the smell is gone. Thank you.
