This cover is perfect for our need. Our water softener is located outside and the cover is made of a durable material that appears easy to keep clean. It also has a plastic zipper for the hood top so it won't rust. Not only does it have a velcro strap down the entire back but also two adjustable straps across the back that are adjustable to securely tighten the cover. It also has a strap in front at the bottom to tighten the cover there. No elements or critters will get inside this cover.

This is a little too big for my Rheem whole house water softener, but it does cover and protect it from the elements.My water softener faces south, so it gets a lot of sun. But also, it's exposed to the elements, so I needed a cover to prevent rainwater from affecting it. I looked online for water softener covers but couldn't find one with measurements that would fit perfectly. Still, I opted to give this one a try and I'm glad I did so.Although the cover is a little too long and too wide to fit my system perfectly, it does provide enough protection from the elements so that my water softener is protected. I especially like the fact that the back uses velcro fasteners, so that I'm able to adjust the rear opening to make room for the water intake and exit lines. I also like the zippered top, which allows me to open the softener without having to remove the cover entirely.All in all, I'm pretty satisfied with the water softener cover.Final score: 9.5/10; Would recommend.

I needed a cover for the water softener and this worked out perfectly.-It came in well packaged in a plastic sleeve and in perfect shape.-I am actually using it for a different brand that is very close to the same shape as the one in the listing and it fits no problem.-It seems very well made with the stitching cleanly done and the zipper a good quality.-Tha fabric is a bit thinner than I thought it would be but it is holding up well so far and did not tear or rip easily.-The preset opening works out perfectly for the water valve in the back.-The Elastic buckle harness helps keep it in place even when it is windy.-The way the whole thing velcros open makes it even easier to get on regardless of where your water softener is set up.-I could go for a view window so I could see the settings at a quick glance though.-So far it has held up to water and mud no problem.If you are in need of some extra protection for your water softener (even if not the listed brand) this works out rather well.
