Great Over all . Make sure to rinse your filters for at least 3 minutes. I didn’t so I had to dump about 5 gallons of filtered water. But for the money it’s great. Make sure to get some red dye so you can check for leaks. The nozzle that fits over the kitchen sink faucet is super handy. Have to purchase separately.

Updating my review after finding that the priming gasket fits much better on my bathroom sink. That said, they should probably look at updating this at some point since modern faucets tend to have a wider aperture. Otherwise, no complaints. Great product.

I did quite a bit of research before buying this specific unit as it's filters look to be (2nd hand info here) the best overall at filtering everything that is being tested. I have a well and it does a great job of killing the metallic flavor that I get with the high rust content. I specifically use this filter for my cooking water and it's been amazing to cook pasta that actually tastes normal without having to buy gallon jugs of bottled water. I am planning to replace the spout on the filter with the plastic model from another vendor as a precaution. I have not read of any issues with the metal spout on this particular model, but many of the other clones do not use food safe metals in their spouts which eventually corrode. I have the new one on order. Given the price of this unit, the extra $30 for a plastic spout to make me feel better is a drop in the bucket of how much I saved. BTW, if you own a Berkey which you may not be able to get filters for soon due to their legal troubles, the filters for this unit fit in the Berkey and are significantly less expensive (as well as better as they actually pass basic water safety testing). Best of luck!

I've been using a Brita filtering container in my refrigerator for years. The output quality was inconsistent whenever I replaced the filter. This set of filters will last for years, and the water is delicious! The footprint of counter space required is about the same as a dinner dish, so it isn't an obstruction when I am using the kitchen. The directions say to dismantle and clean monthly. That seems very reasonable and as though it will prevent the problems some people have experienced with this filter setup over time.

First, let me start by saying now that I have it and it’s finally set up and working. I’m enjoying it. I had a pretty big glitch when I first tried putting it together. I had great support from the company and from Amazon. It was resolved quickly and I put the unit together. I will say that the Directions you get with the product in the box sorta suck, but there is a YouTube video on how to put together the king tank water system. I wish I could send it to you. I don’t know how to do that but it was fabulous. It helped me so much and I think you should look for it because it’s a game changer! But as far as the water its fabulous, so I would highly recommend this unit. I love the Spicket, It tells you what level your water is at, that was a game changer for me, I researched all of these systems for about a month and this is the one I chose. I like that the water dispensing spout is also metal. So far two thumbs up, no leaks. Water stays cool, taste great!

I recently purchased the Waterdrop 2.25G Gravity-fed Water Filter System, and I am very happy with it. I was pleasantly surprised that it was easy to assemble, even for my 80-year-old mother. The 2.25-gallon container is just the right size for an average two-person household. The filter system removes all weird tastes and odors, and it filters water very quickly. The spigot on the tank is well-designed and helps you determine the water level, which reduces water spillage from overfilling the tank. This system works as described and arrived on time. I would say that it is a good investment that is well worth the money. In addition to providing clean, great-tasting water, it also helps reduce landfill waste and global warming.

I bought these filters based on all of the 4/5 star reviews which I find stunning. I can only surmise that people arechecking the “5-star” for ease of installing” because they ARE easy to install. You just place it in hole and screw iton just like the Berkey’s.. It’s not rocket science. Maybe that’s bringing the overall rating up?BUTThese filters don’t even come close to the Berkey filters. After priming them (just like Berkeys) and filling myBerkey with hose water 5- TIMES through the system the water had a pure sickening metallic taste that tookall night to go away. The scariest part is the water from the hose tasted perfectly fine with no after taste of any kind whichmeans these filters are created the disgusting metal taste. All 6- people on our tripsaid the same thing!Like everyone else (guessing here) I bought these filters because the Berkey replacements are stupid expensive.I cannot express how bad the Doulton water tastes, the time it takes for the metallic to leave your mouth andin our group 3- upset stomachs through the night. We use this on our boat and did not bring bottledwater with us. We actually had to pull anchor and go into a marina to buy water.Extremely upsetting and scary putting “God knows what” into our bodies. Who really knowswhat’s inside of them since they don’t go into detail.Since I’m past the 30-day return time I’m stuck with them. I’ll start saving up for the Berkeyfilters and use bottled water until I can buy the real ones again. In 15- years this is the worst “knockoff” product I’ve ever bought. Lesson learned. We have the Berkey King and use 4- of the black filters.. with no fluoride filters. With the Berkey King and 4- Berkey filters the water tastes delicious, which is anodd thing to say as it has no taste at all. Those who use Berkey will understand...Save up for the Berkey!
