It will definitely take some work to get as good as the person in the video. I will say that it's probably faster than using a knife. But don't expect the perfect cubes in the video, not at first anyway. I was left with a lot of small irregular pieces of watermelon.And why is the fork end angled up toward the wrist???? I was literally jabbing myself in the wrist with the pointy fork while using the tool. It should be at the same angle as the cutter -- pointing down and away from the arm. I feel it's a bit dangerous in this configuration, and basically just another kitchen gadget, so 3 stars for now.

This tool is made of quality stainless steel. I think it takes practice to get right. My first top "row" of watermelon looked great. After removing those the next rows weren't very pretty because of the unevenness I created when cutting the first row. I should have kept the pressure even across when cutting the row. I'm looking forward to trying it again with the next watermelon.
