I attached my GoPro 12 to this Floating Handle with Remote Control. Using the provided Quik Start Guide I was able to easily pair the camera with the Handle,,,, after finding my magnifying light. The Quik Start Guide was the smallest I think I've ever dealt with being an aggravation,,, Very tiny print! After paired, the remote easily operated the camera and I tested all the functionality in a matter of minutes. The control buttons are easily accessed by your thumb and I didn't see any delay in the camera response. I will be able to pull the camera out of my pocket by the handle and press the record button in a second and won't miss a shot! There is a 1/4" hole on the handle end that enables you to attach a tripod or an extension pole. The fact that it will float if I drop it overboard while fishing is a bonus. The only question I need to answer is how long the battery will last in the handle. Experience will answer that. A great GoPro accessory!

This floating hand grip is perfect for snorkeling or any water activity with your GoPro. It’s a good size, floats well, and feels solid in the water. The remote control is a nice bonus, but just keep in mind it doesn’t work reliably underwater, which I expected. Honestly, it seems like it’s made in the same factory as the big-brand ones—just without the logo and extra cost. The wrist strap adds peace of mind, and overall, it’s a great value for what you get. Definitely recommend if you want a simple, reliable grip for your action camera!

I'm old and have multiple disabilities. One of them is arthritis in my hands which is making it increasingly difficult to hold and opperate cameras and smartphones.So I've been seeking alternstive ways to hold and control my cameras.This looked like it might work - and it does.Combining a remote control with a handle, from my perspective, is brilliant. I have a GoPro remote, but it requires me to use my hand to control it. The camera has to be in something like a chest or head mountwhich limits my shooting angles.With this, I hold the handle and the remote control buttons are at my fingertips. Though you need a magnifier to read to read the instructions, they are clear and simple. Pairing was hassle-free.The handle has a textured grip that is easy to hold. It's a little longer than I would like, but I can live with that.Recharging the internal battery requires the use of a custom cable that you don't want to lose or misplace.While I am not using this device for diving,it is certainly helping me puruse my passion for photography despite my disability.Jerry

When GoPros first came out, the waterproof grip/float you used to get for the cameras looked like something made by Fisher Price. So to see that this had a really useful remote control built in to the grip, sparked my interest. It's a nice idea, especially when you're in the cold water trying to use your numb fingers to fiddle with the camera buttons. This helps you do the same thing, all the while never requiring more than one hand to operate. Winner.
