Each sloth is packaged separately, which is really nice as I can just take one with me. Each package contains the instructions and wool for one sloth. To work on it, you grab a bag and the tools and you are set. No worries about whether you are using too much wool, or anything like that either, as I don't have to try to allocate it out.The wool is nice. It is easy to work with and the colors are great.The tools are good. The instructions are good too, except that the instructions don't explain how to put the thing in for the keychain. I'll look that up, but it would be nice if they told me what to do. I'm guessing glue would be good.I'd say this is good for an advanced beginner, not necessarily a complete beginner. A complete newbie could do it, but I do think there are better places to start. Some projects are more one main piece that you felt things onto. This one has multiple pieces that are fairly large -- attaching a body to a head, and adding legs and such. It's a little more complex than some others out there. I would have been fine starting here, but still I am glad that my first needle felting project wasn't quite so involved.

The set includes five kits to make sloth dolls. Although I haven't actually made it yet, they appears to be cute. Hopefully I can make them as cute as the pictures. Instructions includes photos which is great.

Felting is such an easy way to keep your hands busy while watching tv or listening to podcasts etc. This set is quite nice. The five different sloths are individually packaged. No need to separate out or try to determine what is for each piece. Plenty of materials for each project. "Felting pad" is just a piece of foam. If you are too forceful with your poking, the needle will penetrate it and poke whatever table you are using. Don't work on a good table without extra protection. Picture instructions are easy to follow. Video instructions available via QR code.

This is a great kit that comes with everything you need to start needle felting.The box is packed full of goodies!You get: foam block for a base.5 individual baggies with instructions and parts for each sloth.1 screw top container for needles.1 wooden handle2 pink leather finger cotsThe instructions show full size photos and clear descriptions of each step. My only complaint is that there is only a QR code to take you to the video. I like links as I don't scan QRs. I had to search to find the video on my own. I found them on YouTube. WatincdirectCan't wait to have all my little sloths hanging around!

Felting is a fairly slow process. How appropriate to teach the slow art of felting by creating small, slow sloths! The kit comes with everything you need, provides clear instructions and will help you learn if this craft is for you. The price point (currently $19.99) is appropriate for what you get. The printed instructions, as opposed to videos only, are an added bonus in my opinion. Most fiber crafts are nice because they can be done on the go but, when only video instruction is offered, it ties you down to be able to complete your project.

These Sloth felting kits are so cute. I had a good laugh when I saw the label on the package that said "Do Not Eat", I can't say I considered it but it's funny. I love that the set comes with 5 kits for making differently posed sloth. Each kit has all you need to make the pictured sloth. The box also includes a foam pad, needles, a handle, and leather finger protectors. I haven't started needle felting yet but I have been wanting to and I think this set is the perfect way for me to get started. Overall I love this set and do highly recommend it.

It's a nice little needle felting kit. We're total noobs at it - so I am not sure if it's the best, but it worked great for us. We had fun with the kiddo making little sloths!

Normally I am not a fan of excessive packaging and I would still encourage this company to utilize paper rather than plastic, however: this kit is made up of 5 individually packaged sloth felting kits and I love that!Each set includes everything needed to felt one of the 5 adorable sloths. All the colors required plus a very detailed instruction sheet. This is great for those of us hope to teach felting to others, but also for the industrious felter who just wants to complete one at a time. Great value, great product.
