Having visited local surfshops and on-line vendors The Wavestorm is a GOOD product--all the necessary accessories you need for immediate use are included; looks great, nice lines and design, lightweight and as a lifelong surfer (since age 11, now 76) a soft top is perfect for my less frequent beach trips. I read the reviews and a good number of these cited damages when recieved. Mine had some too-the tail must have been jammed in upright position as the underside had a recessed furrow across the tail; the top of the tail had some compression "wrinkles".....overall this will not affect performance so I will accept it as the risk in purchasing online. Once again, this is a good product at a great price, I have to give props to Amazon because of their no hassle return/replace policy (so becareful not to damage the shipping box should your board have a defect. Get wet and enjoy!

This all started because my 9’6 log is in the shop damaged for the 2nd time in a few months and I have nothing to surf.. again.. I want a durable back up beater board. Never surfed a foamie in my life. I originally ordered the 9 foot. It was returned before I even received it due to damage. So I ordered the 8 foot. It arrived with the nose and tail smashed, the tail really bad. Even the plastic slick bottom is all smashed. It’s sad because I don’t know where you can buy a wavestorm in person anymore and it’s a great foamie. Amazon needs to quit hogging this market because they suck at handling boards. I was going to return the board but instead accepted a partial refund. I took the board out today in chest to shoulder high beach break and the board seemed to paddle and surf fine. Heck, maybe it’s more maneuverable with my custom tail rocker!

Got this board for my family to try out surfing on a recent trip to the beach.Everyone from my 10 year old to my wife to me enjoyed the board and found it easy to ride.Easy to get up, smooth to ride.For anyone looking for a board to have fun in small waves or a board to learn on, you can’t beat the price or quality of this board.

This is a great foam board for beginners. Stays buoyant in the water and is easy to put the fins on. Good strap. All around, a great board!

You have to put the fins on when it arrives and that takes like 5 minutes. And then you are ready to go! I functions perfect. Great beginner board or an inexpensive extra board. great buy...

This is a great board for the money very good board for beginners with vibrant colors a little bit of assembly is required but it can be done in 5 minutes overall would totally recommend this board for a beginner or intermediate surfer or someone learning to surf

Great beginner board or just as a backup or beater. I've surfed it in a variety of conditions, from 1ft to 6ft no problem. Very easy to paddle in good conditions (smooth water and small to mid swells), but takes a good bit of effort and stamina to get out in rougher conditions (you'll take a beating as you can't drive under waves). Seems very durable and looks great. I'd buy again without hesitation.
