Your cart is empty.Heavy duty 10,000 high cycle life replacement springs for Wayne Dalton Garage Doors using the torquemaster one TM1 TMI Original style spring system. This specialty spring is made only by Wayne Dalton for their Torquemaster TMS garage door system. To order, you must know the height and weight of your garage door. Measure door height or find the label on the metal spring tube listing your door dimensions. For doors 6'6" - 7'5" choose 7ft height. For doors 7'6" - 8'2" choose 8ft. The most important information when ordering a spring is your garage door balance weight. Springs are specifically rated for a range of door weights, so this detail is required to receive the correct spring replacement. Usually the weight is listed on a label located on the metal tube. If it isn't you can use a bathroom scale to weigh your door. Make sure all spring tension is release prior to weighing. The cables must be fully slack on both sides to insure you are getting the full weight on the scale. Once you have the weight, select the weight range that your door weight falls within. If you select a higher or lower weight than your actual door weighs, the spring you receive may not work.

Order was processed very quickly and delivered immediately without having to expedite shipping. Included great instructions with diagrams and directions. Used a combination of instructions provided with step by step You tube video's which helped to speed up installation process and do the repair correctly. Garage door works better then before.

A bit pricy but it fit perfectly, it was an easy job to replace it because they sent instructions for replacing it along with the spring , its always best to read the instructions before you start , to eliminate making sequential mistakes.

The original Torquemaster Spring of my garage door broke after over 15 years of service. Contacted several garage door professionals, and they all tried to sell a new door to me. So I decided to replace the spring by myself. The new spring arrived within Amazon's estimate delivery time frame. The spring is slightly smaller (in both wire diameter and overall diameter) and shorter than the original one, the fittings at the two ends are identical. it came with a printed step-by-step instruction, and a note that explain that the difference in diameter/length is fine. Followed the instruction, I spent about 45 minutes to complete the work. Now my garage door works as before.
