About Wazakura Japan
WHAT WE DO
Wazakura Japan has been delivering since 2019 Japanese bonsai and ikebana tools worldwide.
We were born not only wanting to make quality tools accessible worldwide, but aiming to keep Japanese crafts alive as well. That is why all of our tools are designed & manufactured in local Japanese workshops.
We want you to enjoy a little taste of Japan at home with tools 100% Made in Japan by skilled local artisans.
WHAT WE BELIEVE IN
We believe in doing business successfully but also responsibly. A business should not only be accountable for its financial results, but also for what it provides to the community. Doing good is as important as doing well.
Wazakura Japan integrates the skills of Japanese artisans and blacksmiths with our design and marketing experience. This way we make these traditional crafts more accessible to the present day consumer.
But, most importantly, we contribute to keep these unique and traditional crafts working methods alive in modern times, helping the communities that dedicate their livelihood to them.
WHO WE WORK WITH
In Wazakura Japan we aspire to provide a better connection to Japanese artisans for a more meaningful purchase. Our tools and accessories are only manufactured in Japan with all the quality and durability that the country has been known for always in mind.
For this vision to be a reality and ensure that our strict production standards are respected, we scouted around Japan for responsible skilled craftsmen that shared our same vision. And we did find them all around the country, in the cities of Sanjo (Niigata Prefecture) and Tokoname (Aichi Prefecture).

- Ideal for a slender flower container or bud vase.
- It can hold single flowers or several small and thin ones.
- 4PCS (2 of round, 2 of square) kenzan pin frogs. IN brass color or with a back coating to fit the toen of your vase or container.

Each piece is handmade in a local blacksmith workshop with more than 50 years of history from the city of Sanjo, in Niigata prefecture.

HOW TO USE
Use:
Place a kenzan in a vase and secure flowers or branches by pushing the stems onto the pin frog needles. We recommend cutting the stem at a very sharp angle or in a point for easier placement in the flower holder. Also, we suggest to use very small flowers or a single flower per kenzan. And let your imagination flow!

These are the smallest flower frogs I've ever owned -- less than an inch per side. They're super heavy, though, so they don't fall over or lean when they're used, and they have a lot of pins, which gives you a lot of options for arrangements. Given their size, the pins are fairly durable (can be bent with pressure). A fantastic set for small arrangements!

These adorable little flower frogs are exceptional. Very substantial and heavy weighted though tiny. They are marked made in Japan and come well packaged in a little box perfect for gifting.
