This is a great little printer for work on the go. However, I will admit I did not realize it could only be used with iOS and Android devices. I thought I was getting one that could be used with Windows. My mistake, but I wish it would also connect to my laptop. Still, I can make it work. The setup was pretty simple.First, you have to install the SharpFox app on the device you intend to print from. This requires an account (they go have a guest account option, but I did not try it. Once logged on, connect the printer. It uses Bluetooth, so just make sure your BT is on, connect your phone or tablet to the printer with the USB-C cable (just to charge, if it needs it) and turn on the printer. If the light on the button is red, you have not turned it on yet. Hold the button until it flashes blue (pairing mode). At the top in the app, it has a Connect Device button. Select that and connect the printer. It should show up as C80_xxxx (xxxx will be the last 4 digits of the printer's MAC address). Select it to connect and now you are ready to print.I will not do an entire tutorial of the app. But select your paper size, type (roll or folded is supported) and load the paper. Be sure to select the switch position on the back for either A4 or US Letter. Also, be sure to load the paper in square. If you load in tilted, it will print that way - I did one that way on purpose to see if it would correct and it did not. See pic. Note: The pics in the review are from the sample paper they provided. It was rolled up and not flat. That's why the pages seem wrinkled. I have fan-folded flat sheets and have had no issue with wrinkles or curling yet.Anyway, you then choose your doc type, upload the doc and tell it to print. It backs the paper up to the registration mark, so you don't lose a page on the front end, then prints. It takes maybe 15-20 secs to print a whole page.Since it is just B&W thermal images, it has to guess on how to register color images. But it does a fair job. See my pics for a color image I printed and the outcome from the printer. Just be aware this is going to be the case if your image is not back and white.Size is outstanding. I can literally put in a pocket (yes, it hangs out the top). But it is essentially just 1-5/8"x2-1/8"x11-3/8". It can fit in a lot of places, including a laptop bag.The app is a little odd, with a lot of choices. But one of the choices is the ability to take a pic and print immediately. Also, it has a pretty cool OCR mode that will let you take a pic and convert the text to a file. You lose formating for tables, etc., but it is still way better than retyping. I even used on the sample table from my first printed page pic and it didn't miss a character. Pretty impressive for a freebee.I have not used enough to rate the battery life, but it seems to last quite a while. I charged to 100% and used to print 8-10 pages, over the course of a couple weeks and it still shows 74%.I wish it would do Windows, so I could connect to my laptop, but I can work my invoices from my tablet/phone, too, so I have a way forward. Overall, pretty impressed with these little guys.

This is a basic, no frills thermal printer for smartphones. It works great on Android, but I've not been able to get it to work on Linux. Make sure you get paper with black markings on the back that match what the printer comes with. Those are alignment marks that tell the printer where the paper starts and ends. Very important. I got the wrong type of folded paper and it didn't print right. Switched paper type from folded to roll and it works well enough. As far as printers go, it's slow, low quality, and a little weird. As a portable black and white document printer, it's great. It has a built in battery and just works. No ink, no mess, nothing. Excellent invoice printer. Great for temporary signs. Good for handing out hard copies of stuff. I prefer this over any inkeht I've had for ease of use and portability. Printers are often unreliable and tedious, but this one just works. I make my documents on Google Docs and then download and print them fromy phone as needed. Little tedious at times, but I always have a printer handy when needed. Quite, connects to Bluetooth easily, great value for money, super small, and reliable. Love it.

I got this because my M832 had an unfortunate accident at the hands of the servant of the Dark Lord named Binky Boo. My little ball of living fur just could not resist destroying the 'thing', so I had to find a replacement for my home. I've used and own several of these types of printers and they do come in handy for my line of work. This wbk brand is new to me, so I decided to test it. First of all, it's build quality is the same of the Phomemo M832 it replaced. The button is responsive to touch and everything works great. The print quality is crisp and clear. Print speed is as expected when compared to my old one.Overall, this is a great buy. It's been a solid performer and it works with no issues at all for me.

I have a Samsung Fold 5 running Android 14 so perhaps the SharpFox app wasn’t written correctly for my device. I spent over an hour trying to get this printer to work. Once setup, the device immediately loses connection. The only way I can connect the device again is to UNPAIR it first, re-establish the connection by pairing again and then I watch it immediately fail. I once got as far as the Print Page screen only to lose connection before I could hit Print. (I am attaching plenty of pictures so you can appreciate my efforts).Regarding Bluetooth, I tried everything. I turned off my Samsung watch and all other devices that may attempt to use the phone’s Bluetooth connection, but again the printer FAILED to stay connected. I even downloaded a mobile printing app but that couldn’t find the correct drivers to work with the app even after installing the SharpFox software.I went to the website and downloaded Windows, OSX and Windows Bluetooth drivers. That process was far from easy and also signed me up for some 3rd party storage site (pCloud) that I won’t ever use. I was continuously asked to log back in for every download I attempted to make. The Windows Bluetooth installation did not work (no device drivers found). It took me some time to find the A4 C80 drivers. Once installed I was able to print a single test page before having the printer light turn red on me.After over an hour of wasted time, I have decided to throw in the towel and not to test the OSX software, maybe I’ll try again tomorrow.Ironically, based on all the wonderful reviews, I took Susan G’s suggestion and ordered a package of 200 thicker thermal paper sheets. If my experience tomorrow is a repeat of today’s I will send the paper back for a refund.
