Since pinballs and Shoot-the-Moon balls will vary by manufacturer, please be sure you are ordering the correct size. This nostalgic wooden game first became popular in the USA in the 1940's and has been engaging game lovers ever since. Manipulate the metal rods to project the metal ball up the slope towards you to drop it into Pluto. Open the rods too much, and the ball will drop too soon into Mercury, Earth, Mars, Jupiter or Saturn earning the player less points. It's an incredibly addictive game that will have the whole family shooting the metal ball down the rails and shooting for the moon! Seems simple enough right? Good quality, rolls nicely. Doesn't work with our inherited shoot the moon game. We have a very old model of shoot the moon. This steel ball is just a bit small making it virtually impossible to make it even half way to the moon. Before the original was lost, I could get pretty close most of the time.

Perfect replacement for the older Shoot the Moon. A much better fit than the 1.06 inch steel ball.
