Fits perfect on my 10/22. The scope makes the rifle more enjoyable at 200 meters, i usually use the open sites but my friends like the scope. We both win.

I couldn't mount my scope because the wron hardware was supplies with the mounts. Completely ticked off with weaver. It is crap. The only reason I picked 1 star is because I had to to submit this review. Stay away from this product unless you like disappointment.

The bases are great, and allow me to use my iron sights. The steel attachment straps are rough and unfinished. Just a bent piece of steel. I replaced the straps with the ones from ones from model 49046, which are machined aluminum, and match the color perfectly. I actually really like the setup now, it just cost me an extra 25 dollars.

I bought these mounts/rings for a new Ruger 10/22 I received for Christmas. These are only for a 10/22 rifle! They fit perfectly after I realized that the plastic they were attached to was only to keep the bands from getting bent (stupid me!). Holes lined up perfect to the holes on the rifle. I added a little lock tight to the screws to keep them from backing out (I do this on all of my scope rings). Perfect fit for the BSA Sweet 22 Scope I was putting on the rifle. When they are tightened down, they feel very reliable and sturdy. I love the see through design for getting off quick shots with iron sights. I highly recommend these for a scope mount on a Ruger 10/22.

I bought these mounts for a scope to go on my Ruger 10/22 Takedown. They mount right to the receiver and offer a much lower profile than if you mounted a scope to the rail that came with the rifle and the bonus with these is that you can see the iron sights (the whole point of buying these) and switch easily between iron sights and scope.Installation was easy and all of the parts included fit like a glove. The mounting holes in the receiver are spaced differently so be sure to match up the ring mount to the correct set of holes and you'll be fine. The rings themselves seem much lighter than traditional quick release scope rings that I had on the rifle with the rail mounted prior to buying these.Minor note, with a scope attached to the rifle, the Takedown will NOT fit in the original bag that the rifle came in without sticking the stock out the top of the bag because a typical scope will be longer than the breakdown halfway point. The width of the rifle with the new mounts will fit on the larger pocket in the bag but it's just too long with a scope attached. Now just have to find time to hit the range and sight the scope in again and we should be set!Great upgrade for someone wanting a scope on their 22 rifle but still wants the option to use iron sights for close range target acquisition.

These mounts are both handsome and very functional. My wife prefers ironsights for her 10/22, but I'm more accurate with a scope. This made for a very nice compromise. I was able to permanently remove the rail that blocks the irons, and can switch between the two with a minor head adjustment. They were not the easiest to install, however. The screws that attach the bottom half to the 10/22 were difficult to screw in with my adjustable screwdriver - it was too wide for the hole. I was able to manage with some scrounging for other tools. The rings are also for a full size 1" tube, so if you're using a cheap Tasco scope with dovetail mounts, the ring will be too big. Some black duct tape will fix that, but do pay attention to that detail.Well worth the money and scope re-zeroing time. Will definately buy again if I purchase another 10/22.

I got these because some times I want to use my open sights and some times I want to use my scope. With these rings I can do both. They seem to hold the scope very solidly. I've banged my rifle around in my truck and on the ATV, and the scope has held it's zero perfectly. I've even used the scope as a carry handle because these rings are so secure. My open sights are very low above the barrel and these rings still allow me to see the open sights clearly. They took about 10 minutes to install using a small screwdriver. And if you have a large target scope, like a 50mm or larger, these will lift the scope high enough off the barrel to keep the scope clear. I'm very happy with these rings.

Like reviewer JohnnyT I had problems aligning my scope using these rings to the point of impact. I used most of my scope's elevation adjustment to zero the scope at fifty yards. While fooling around trying to see if I could get a better alignment by reversing the direction of the rings I found that the front ring alone would provide almost perfect alignment but when the rear ring was added it would change point of aim too high or too low depending on the direction it was mounted. I considered shimming the rear base but got worried about bending the scope (Nikon Prostaff 4x32). In the end I took these off and went with a set of Burris Signature Zee rings with self centering adjustment inserts. After these were installed I gained half of my scope's elevation adjustment back and by using the inserts I was able to optically zero the scope's point of aim to point of impact. Since the Burris rings were not perfect without the using the inserts it appears that the alignment problem is 50/50 ring problem and 10/22 receiver to barrel aligment. All that said, the rings did work and I had a enough scope adjustment to zero my scope at 50 yards but I'm just too fussy about getting the alignment to the scope's optical center. I'm shooting a Ruger 10/22 Takedown so maybe shooters with fixed barrel 10/22's won't have the problems I did.BTW, if you want to check your optical alignment hold a mirror flat against the business end of your scope and look through the objective to see the difference between your optical center and your adusted zero.

I had these rings mounted in about 5 mins on my 10/22 with a sweet 22 plinker. Nice clean fit on the scope and the see throughs are wide and clear. Easy to install and good quality. Doesn't make the scope sit to high. I can easily use the scope or iron sites with little eye adjustment.

You should keep in mind those rings are for 10/22 only and you should not be planning to use them on other rifles. It took a little bit more time than I expected to receive it after I placed order, but this is not an issue. To attach rings to your rifle you will have to remove your original rail (if you have any). The fact you have to work 8 screws and 4 physical rings on small .22 caliber is kind of annoying, but mechanically 4 rings should do better than 2. It perfectly fits 10/22 TD. You can clearly see iron sights through it. No problems with sighting in scope (Nikon 3-9 Rimfire). I took it to the range today and can not say anything negative after 200 rounds.
