The idea is great however it is definitely not meant for a standard quarter horse sized head in my opinion. The noseband sits very high on the bones and rubs. After two uses it will sit in my tackroom or the trash. I even attempted to vet wrap where it rubs. This was not successful. The item just does not fit correctly.

My horse needed a refresher and this took care of his issues with just 5 days of riding. Worked well.
