Quality is great but the chain is too short. It is usable with some modifications but needs to be made longer by about 4-5 inches.

I use this as an attachment to the end of my puppy's leash. He bites his leashes, he's shredded several already, and our trainer suggested putting a chain at the end that clips to his collar because dogs don't like biting metal as much. Well, he still chews on this but it doesn't hurt it. It's a very solid chain and clip and it works perfectly for my needs!

It was a little too short for our mule and he is the size of a standard horse. But otherwise well made product.
