i bought a mare with quite a few vices and regardless of how much I tried lowering my arms myself to bring her to collect she was as stubborn as a mule this German martingale helped teach her so fast how to collect and make it more enjoyable for me as well. I’m buying this item again to replace my original lost in a barn fire! Having this on hand for reminders or other animals I’m working with is definitely a must have now!

This martingale is undoubtedly well-made, with good quality materials. The best part was finding it on Amazon at the most affordable price.However, there are a couple of things to keep in mind. It seems to be designed for larger horses, and I found it a bit big for my 15.3 hands Quarter Horse. Adjustments may be needed to get the perfect fit. Additionally, I would recommend applying some leather oil or other treatment to make it more durable in the long run.Overall, it's a quality product, but be prepared for possible size adjustments for smaller horses and a little extra care for the leather. Four stars with these considerations in mind.
