These were very easy to install. I washed my kayak and allowed it to dry, then used prep pads on the hull before applying the rings.They seemed to stick well but after the first trip out on the water, they started to pull away from the hull.I might have done something wrong in installation but I don't think so. I believe the adhesive on the rings just isn't very strong.
