So far so good! Like most reviews, it made a difference in some dead areas for better cell signal and wifi but not in all. Installation wasn't too involved and the antenna mounted pretty quick. The cradle is best on a phone with no cover. Instead, if you have a cover and pop grip like me, when I try a bit, it will hold. Definitely needed for those rural areas!

This works as advertised. If there is a weak or barely usable signal to your phone, this will likely make it usable. If there is “no service” to your phone, this won’t do a darn thing for you, as the item description states.I camp all over the country, a lot of BLM and NF where I often find myself just on the fringe of service. This thing will give me usable signal more times than not. A few times I’ve had “no service” to the phone but this at least gave me voice capability which is a great piece of mind when off road. In fact, I’m writing this review from a forest campsite. Out of cradle I can get voice but no data. In cradle, I’m getting good internet speeds averaging about 20 Mbps. Now let’s talk installation. I don’t know if my refurb had cable length added over a new item, but it came with a RIDICULOUS amount of cable. It’s listed as a consumer product but stretched end to end this thing could be installed in full sized school bus! After installing in a midsize SUV (Jeep GC), cradle up front and antenna out the back hatch, there’s about 15-20 FEET of excess coax cable to bunch up and shove somewhere. I’d like to move this between my two vehicles but afraid I’ll be found strangled trying to relocate the massive rat nest of cabling!…Come on Weboost, common sense should have easily remedied this before the production phase. Call me, we’ll talk…It’d be worth a higher rating if it were more portable, otherwise, a very good product.

I purchased this item specifically for camping in the woods where sometimes we can't get a good signal, if any signal at all depending on where we are. We live in Central Florida and we have Metro which operates off of the T-Mobile network. We normally have a very good signal in most areas. Since we aren't going to an area where I know we have signal issues until December, I tested this in my yard where the signal is at best 2 bars. After setting it up (which is super easy) and putting my phone in the cradle, my signal went from 1 or 2 bars to 3 or 4 bars so it seems to work as advertised. I will give this 5 stars for now and will post an update when we go camping in the "questionable" area the weekend before Christmas.

I use this product daily being in the oilfield. Yes I had to buy an adapter in order to plug into wall versus car but it works wonders. I went from barely a bar of 4G but now have 2-3 bars of LTE. I did have it in the car and it was SUPER easy to install. Those that have issues seem to be super whiny and seeking a miracle. Totally worth the money I paid for it. Been using for months and no issues. Remember there has to be some signal to boost. No signal, nothing to boost.

I was very disappointed in this product. I spent (wasted) a lot of time troubleshooting this booster when it failed to boost my signal at all. I even bought a second unit at a local store thinking the first unit was defective. I tried it in multiple vehicles. I talked to tech support and they gave me some things to check, more wasted time. I returned this booster and after all of the trouble shooting I think that if you have a very good signal it will boost it, otherwise it does nothing at all. Why would you need to boost a signal thar is already very good? My recommendation is not to waste your time or money.

The sticky tape on magnetic plates did not work under extreme temperature. Used J-B Weld high heat glue. Good for temperatures up to 400 degrees. Now the plate would stay in the back of the mount.Magnet needs to be stronger. Had to buy a new magnet and then everything was working fine. Bought a magnet with 6 magnets in it from Wizgear. Now brackett will stay connected under high temperature in car. Unit gives me 2 more bars signal strength. Does the job. Worth the money.
