It only comes with a 4G Wilson outdoor antenna. The antenna only supports 4G so this repeater will not help with 5G, even if that what is advertised. This is our second one the first was shipped with out the indoor antenna, instructions and the power supply. Amazon shipped the replacement very fast. But I was hoping for 5G boost. Looking at a upgrade for the outside antenna.

The weBoost did a good job of boosting the cell reception. In areas that without the booster I would have only one bar, and I could maybe get a text message out but no web browsing, when I turned on the weBoost I was able to do some web browsing, albeit a bit slow. I did have 3 problems with the unit. First problem was that the unit didn’t come with a 12V source adapter. This unit is advertised as an RV version. Who in an RV wants to run this off 110V? I called support and they sent me a 12V adapter free of charge. The 12V adapter is hard wire only, not a cigarette plug connection. This is actually what I wanted; however, the weBoost has no on/off switch. Once again, this is sold as an RV version, so there should be an on/off switch. So, I ordered an on/off switch and wired it into the 12V supply. My last problem is that the antenna mounting bracket failed (see attached picture). The antenna has a plastic cover, which wasn’t damaged, so there’s no way I hit something with the antenna that caused the mounting bracket to fail. My only conclusion is that while driving down the highway, wind caused the antenna to quiver on the mounting bracket which caused the metal bracket to fatigue and then fail. I consider myself fortunate that while the antenna was bouncing around on my roof, connected only by the coax, it didn’t scratch my van’s roof. I called weBoost, and they offered to send me an identical replacement mounting bracket. I asked them why would I think an identical replacement would not break, and this time maybe scratch the roof of my van. My mounting bracket was orientated such that the wind would blow past it, and not blow into the bracket.

I bought this hoping it would make communication possible in a camp spot where a signal comes and goes but is not strong enough to actually work. It did that.I drove up to my favorite camp spot today with two phones. One is on the Visible service (Verizon network) and the other uses T-Mobile.Without the booster, Visible has a blinking one bar of service that never actually worked. With the booster powered up I was able to do basic web browsing/texting/etc. but not stream media.I was really surprised that I was also able to receive texts on my T-Mobile phone after powering up the booster. I have never had even a hint of T-Mobile from that location. But still no data with T-Mobile.The booster seemed to have no effect when trying it at home where signal strength is adequate to good. So, I think it can make really bad signals into just bad, and perhaps make bad signals into OK, but I don't think it will make a good signal into a great one.

Didn’t work the way I expected. The product didn’t really up my signal. Maybe one bar, but nothing else. Not my thing.

The weBoost Drive X RV cell signal booster offers a promising solution for those seeking improved connectivity on the road or at their campsite. I had high expectations for this FCC-approved booster, but unfortunately, my experience fell short of my initial hopes.Installation of the booster was indeed simple, and I appreciated the compatibility it offered with all major U.S. carriers, including Verizon, AT&T, T-Mobile, and UScellular. The ability to support the latest 5G technology was also a noteworthy feature, promising optimal speeds and service on any smartphone. However, despite these promising features, I found that the weBoost Drive X RV did not deliver a significant increase in signal strength, which was disappointing. In my testing, the booster struggled to overcome the limitations posed by weak existing signals and external obstacles in my specific location. It became evident that the booster's effectiveness heavily relies on external factors.Although the weBoost Drive X RV boasts a 50 dB max gain, it did not meet my expectations in practice. While it may provide a moderate boost in signal strength, it failed to deliver the substantial improvement I had hoped for. As a result, my connectivity experience remained largely unchanged.Nevertheless, I must commend weBoost for their commitment to customer support. Their U.S.-based customer support, available through the app, chat, phone, or email, was responsive and helpful in addressing my concerns. Additionally, the two-year warranty offered with their products is a reassuring aspect for potential buyers. In conclusion, the weBoost Drive X RV cell signal booster offers an easy installation process, broad carrier compatibility, and promises to support 5G technology. However, I must express my disappointment in the booster's inability to provide a significant increase in signal strength in my particular situation. While it may offer a moderate improvement for some users, I would advise potential buyers to carefully consider their specific needs and external factors before investing in this product.

I love this signal booster, it's designed for use in an RV, includes a omnidirectional antenna, an indoor antenna, coax cable, and a control box. I think it's really sleek and impressive and it works at home too! I barely get any signal out here in the high desert but using this booster u was able to get some really good signal and throughout our house (which isn't very large) before this I could not even get signal in my bedroom, with this I can easily use my phone in my room or as a Hotspot when we lose internet which is pretty often out here lol, I would recommend this 9/10
