Every year, I use more of this fabric - especially in the large garden. it's a woven polypropylene fabric that allows water to drain through with no problems but prevents weeds from getting through. This year, I have to get a lot more of this as there is a long 400ft section of grass that I'm going to cover with asphalt millings to create parking (instead of paving). The fabric will hold the millings and prevent it from sinking into wet and muddy ground. I will also do the same for a roadway between the driveway and barn - also to prevent cars from being stuck in mud. Cheap solution to make a clean stone driveway that will last.

This is a good quality barrier that so far does a great job keeping the weeds at bay.-It came well packaged and in perfect shape.-I am using this around/under my Plants in the veggie garden.-After cleaning out the area we laid this down and then put the staples down and fabric pots on top.-The staples that came with this are medium weight and work fine.-I do have to say I would make sure to secure/fold over the cut ends with staples often because they shred/ unweave in the wind. Although even when exposed to sun for a few weeks they have not โbroken downโ like some other barriers we have tried.Overall this has so far eliminated the weed issue around the plants so I am happy not having to use herbicide.

After years of manually picking crab grass and other weeds out of my vegetable gardens every year, the joints in my hands just couldn't do it anymore. I had given up on typical big box store weed barrier, as it never works and seems to do more harm than good. So I didn't have super high hopes for this stuff. Boy was I wrong! This is incredibly durable, and nothing grows through it without you cutting an access hole for it. Make sure you use appropriate cutting tools when you lay it down. This stuff truly made it possible for me to keep gardening after tendinitis and other joint problems from pulling weeds so often.

I'm covering a steep hill with this so that we no longer have to figure out how to mow there. Neeless to say, I'm thrilled to have this stuff. Good quality and I'd come back for more when neccessary.

This is a great weed barrier, it's strong, lets water though it nicely, and will be very difficult for roots to break though. It comes with some staples, but i used way more than it came with, though they are cheap, so not a big deal. This was enough for me to get the entire garden bed setup around the house, now i just have to go out and pickup a trailer full of mulch and i'll have a beautifully refreshed bed

So this just arrived today, and my son was excited to discover that it was different than the usual ground cloth that we have. (The ground cloth we usually get is more of a soft fiber with a fine texture that feels very much like a cloth.)He is excited that this is actually plastic and inner woven and will help him with landscaping. He'll of course use it for growing garden produce, but he also likes to experiment with fairy gardens and things that do well at repelling water, now this probably isn't going to entirely repel water because it's a weave, but he's excited to experiment with this new texture. And it does feel nice and thick and strong. And it's quite a big role of it!If it doesn't work well for us, I'll come back and report.. but this is a lot of garden material with a lot of options!

We won't have a chance to use this for a bit in Maine; but in looking at it, it should work great. It is woven to allow for water and air permeation for your plants. You can cut it to whatever size you wish and can cut holes in it for your plants to come up through. There are pegs included to help secure it. We've always had good luck using this type of thing, and I am expecting that this will work even better than what we have purchased at the big-box stores. I will update this review if any problems or tips when the time comes.

I use this mostly for pathways. I don't like using it where I plan to have plants growing, because it's a b*^%% to get up if it gets buried. This kind of fabric usually lasts me about 2-3 seasons and it really saves me a ton of time not having to weed the paths. This brand seems to be as good as the last one I used but we will see how it weathers. I'll come back and update if it doesn't hold up as expected.
