Even with all the rechargeable handheld and robotic vacs you may have, there will be times when you'll need to go old school. Here in Florida, we have summer storms every year. You may also have heard of our hurricanes. When the bottom is full of leaves blown by the breeze from the trees, you'll be glad to have one of these. I have an in-line leaf skimmer that holds onto the bigger stuff while pulling everything else into the filter. This is the perfect size and shape for my 24' round above ground pool. It fits any standard telescoping pole with bristles to scrub with. My only gripe is, despite its advertising, it is most definitely NOT weighted. In fact, it could be a little heavier to help the head stay on the bottom. But for the price, the shape is right for getting up into the rounded bottom of the walls. This is a handy tool to have after a big blow.

This fits to the poles that are normal with pool cleaning supplies so didn't have to buy anything else. Fit the hose we already had as well so was a quick process to be able to use. Does what it needs to do, brushes the bottom and picks up the junky stuff while cleaning the pool. It's a great product overall.

This vacuum head works great as an extra brush. I would not use it as the only brush, in my opinion it doesn’t have enough bristles for heavy duty scrubbing. It also has no weights so it has to be held down. It is good though for lighter vacuuming, especially in the shallow end (I have an in ground pool). The only problem is that the little clip that holds the piece that attaches to the pool pole broke when I put it in. I had to take a zip-tie to hold it since the clip was useless at that point.

I have an above ground 24' round pool and I ordered this vacuum head because the one that came with the pool doesn't get close to the pool wall very well.The description says Its weighted then it says its lightweight so maybe I should have paid more attention.I took a couple pictures of the weighted light weight half moon head next to my traditional triangular weighted vacuum head for comparison.The total weight of the vacuum head is .56lbs or a little over a half lb. and the traditional one weighs in at 2.75lbs..The half moon one did a better job of cleaning the perimeter of the pool along the wall where I could apply downward pressure easily as i walked around the outside of the pool, but when standing on the deck and making long strokes across the pool it tended to float away from the bottom of the pool.If you have a smaller soft wall pool this item will probably work better than the larger heavier one,I will use the half moon head for cleaning around the perimeter and the triangular one for the rest

Quality is good on this and it works well. I like that it works much better in round corners of the pool because of the shape.
