Item is fine, genuine Weller, but the advert is confusing about how many are included in the $13 price.The technical details says: "item Package Quanity" is 1, but also says "Number of Pieces" is 5 ????I suspected it was for one tip, but other vendors sell similar tips at 5 for that price.Please clean it up and I bet you'll sell more, end even more if you knock a buck off that price :-)

This is exactly what I needed for building headphones and working with small pcb's. Although it must be used with my hotter iron, the size and taper allow me to precisely solder in fewer seconds than the normal point on more cylindrical tips.It's much like sketching; the longer, norrower pencil tip allows you to use the tool with much greater range of flexibility. There is much less blocking your view, allowing greater freedom and precision.Although it's become slightly pitted, it holds solder very nicely. Whenever I wipe the sponge, a shiny, tinned tip reveals itself. Very satisfied.

Punta fina suficiente para trabajos con componentes SMD. Esta punta es compatible con la estación Weller WLC100MX. No se indica en la descripción pero se ha usado para aplicaciones de soldadura sin plomo sin daño alguno. Alta calidad esperada de la marca.

This tip fits my Well WP-35, it is a great small tip for intricate work on the soldering iron that I take in to the field for fast repairs. The WP-35 comes with an absolutely giant tip that that I can't use for anything that I typically do. This tip is not solid, it's base is hollow. The trade off of this is that the tip heats up faster, but doesn't retain heat as well and if you are doing lots of continuous soldering it doesn't stay at temperature. For the WP-35, which is my field iron, I am rarely doing lots of continuous work, and would prefer the iron to heat up faster. At the Iron I keep on my bench, I prefer a solid tip.I like this tip. It works well.

Product quality is fine. The one star is for inaccurate description. This is a conical tip not a flat or screwdriver tip.
