I used the 1/4 inch to add a selfie light to my phone tripod, giving me a little more light when I do reviews. I haven't found a use for the 3/8 inch one yet

I use a variety of light stands in our small studio, and this two pack of adapters is a useful addition to our toolbox. The adaptors allow you to quickly attach any piece of equipment (lights, cameras, diffusers, etc.) that uses a ¼ or ⅜ in screw to the light stand. The adapter fits over the spigot that comes with any light stand. Recommended.
