Interchanges with: ac136, 5613939. These plugs fit 24v 6.2 L diesel military CUCV trucks only . (Not for the h-1.) We do offer glow plugs for the civilian 6.2’S as separate listing). These plugs have a special narrow male spade connector. (The non-military 6.5 Plugs have a standard spade). Look at you connector to be sure this is the correct plug for your truck. If it has the narrow spade, this is your plug. These updated plugs offer an improvement in cold weather starting. Considerable design effort has been put into these new plugs to ensure that they not only start better, but have improved service life. Special attention has been paid to the plug tips in order to minimize potential swelling that can occur as the plugs age. Some lesser plugs can swell so big at the tip that they won't come back out of the head, that's a problem you don't need. Check out the test results of the side-by-side comparison pictures. (Wellman plug is on the right) both plugs were new, both powered from the same battery at the same time, with the same size wire. - Wow - look at the difference! I own a 1986 M1009 CUCV with a 6.2l J-Series diesel. After some problems starting I removed and tested each glow plug. Turns out 4 out of 8 were completely shot. I went all around town to all the big auto parts stores and had no luck finding the correct plugs. Oh, they could special order them at a gigantic price and I could get them in a couple week. A quick Amazon search and was-lah! They were easy to install and my rig fired right up!

The best glow plugs for 24 volt diesel truck. The temperature dropped to minus 4 degrees overnight for over a 3 days. 1986 chevy military pick up truck 6.2 liter diesel. Fired up every time.
