Only use these in cabinet making all day . Reason is look at how tip is designed , it fits deeper into the "Phillips" head screws so a lot more like you WILL NOT strip out the screws head. Also it fit #2 screws great , it also goes into smaller screws great also. And most of all I have one over 6 years old not rounded over and they just never break like the so called tougher cryo treated Phillips bits that break all the darn time and tips get messed up.SO OVERALL THIS REALLY SHOULD BE THE ONLY STYLE PHILLIPS BIT TIP THAT YOU BUY . 30 years in woodworking has learned me what works best , but you do you live n learn.

Great tips, fit perfectly and last as long or longer than milwaukee shockwave tips.

It said pack of 10 #2 bits but only received 1 single bit . For $ 5.00 . I am currently buying again . We will see what I get this time around . ( $12.00 ) this time . If I only get 1 bit I will be very disappointed in the false advertising.

Maybe I am the only one who didn't know this, but this bit is a perfect fit for many of the large body bolts holding carburetor end on. I almost always would have at least one bolt strip with standard Phillips #1 or #2, but this bit sits deep and securely.

These are my preferred driver bits. I’m a contractor and well use these before any other on 90% of the screw heads that are phillips that I come across. Superior, grabbing and holding and I’ve always refer to them as Apex bits.

They're great bits and I've always trusted wera but they don't seem to last I can get maybe a week of heavy use on a drywall gun before the either cam out into a twisted cross or just break at the tip but still use em

When I first got these I thought they were size PH1, but I was wrong, the are PH2. The interesting thing is how well they fit inside a PH2 Screw, zero tolerance or wiggle. I'm guessing here but, it appears that the engineers modified standard PH2 bit shape to fit how screws are actually manufactured instead of the ANSI standard. From the Wera Webpage:"Bits with reduced shaft diameter ensure that screws can be sunk without damaging the surface. This is particularly necessary in drywall construction applications."Now, the reduced diameter does work in allowing the screw to be sunk without the bit damaging the material's surface, but I feel there is an additional benefit in the design that allows the bit to slide deeper and more snug, into the screw.

Although it's only been a week with these bits, I'm pretty confident I've found my new favourite. Have tried most of them I'd say and the closest would be hilti but as of now I'd take these.I do commercial drywall and framing so I drive a lot of screws, but these just don't quit. I put 4 days in on one bit and only switched it out so I could use it in my impact. It still bit like new and didn't need switching out, just didn't want to use a new one on the impact.*I stealth switched out my coworkers screwgun bit Friday and he mentioned many times today how much better his screwgun was running and had no idea why lol*Limited experience with them so far and will update if anything changes... I did just order another pack tonight for what it's worth.

Just got my second box of these and they are different than the 1st box I received a while back. First box was gold in color, like the diamond coated bits, these are plain silver. I liked the gold bits enough to buy a second set (as I thought that's what I would be getting through the "order again" link), but I'll see how these hold up.So far nothing lasts as long as the old Apex bits used to last, not even the the new Apex bits. These gold Wera bits were as close as I could find to the original Apex bits.Let's see how these go.
