Westbrass was founded in 1935 by two brothers, Jack and Aaron Kagan, to serve the needs of all plumbing wholesalers on the West Coast. The product lines at the time included items such as faucets, valves, malleable fittings, etc. After becoming the premier distributor of plumbing products, the company was bought in 1985 by Max Homami. Seeing a boom in the Home Improvement Industry, Mr. Homami had a vision to make Westbrass the leader in Kitchen & Bath Accessories.
The company currently manufactures its own products made of the highest quality materials. In order to ensure the excellence in the industry, these products are made to pass the highly stringent requirements of NSF, IAPMO, ADA and many other regulations. The Los Angeles-based company now sells a wide range of Plumbing Specialty Products, Bath Waste & Overflows, as well as Decorative Kitchen & Bath Accessories worldwide.

The item is a bit more black but it could be that the “oil rubbed bronze” hasn’t really came out yet. They say true oil rubbed bronze gets that bronze look over time but regardless this matches good, you can’t even tell. Our shower head, spot and nozzle are delta oil rubbed bronze and it looks great together! This honeycomb drain cover worked great, there were others that screwed in but those didn’t work for our older cast iron tub (original from the 50’s) lol. Looks great, works good, and for the price you can’t beat it. I went to the plumbing supply to try to get an exact match for the delta and got prices for roughly 40$ for the cover and roughly 60$ for the trip lever and knew I didn’t want to spend that kind of money on a tub from the 50’s lol win/ win 10/10 :)

Looks and fit nice. Install was easy but it did not come with a new cotter pin.

Good product, very easy to install. The hair catcher does its work, hair doesn't go down the drain it just swirls around the the drain..

Easy to install. Cotton pin is not included so be sure to save the cotton pin from the old unit. The trip lever handle is plastic so I am not expecting it to last long. I am disappointed that the matte black already came off of the handle with one use flipping the lever up and down. If you are looking for something durable, look elsewhere.

Both parts are metal with only a little bit of plastic on the back side of the drain lever mechanism. This installed easily in our existing tub. The metal hook that connects to the back of the drain lever was slightly thicker than the hole provided, but I was able to get it to fit by sanding the metal hook wire and then working it back and forth into the drain lever hole until it was loose enough to move freely. Got the whole thing installed and working in less than fifteen minutes (including modifications to the hook wire).
