Used it on a 2014 mkx I wanna say it had a 3.5l timing driven water pump and I used these to hold the timing. Despite some of the bad reviews it worked for me.I was gonna buy the lysle but this one was cheaper and I knew I was only going to use it once.

When the water pump failed on my niece’s Mazda I was happy to find OEM quality timing tools for less than $30. These tools are a must have to maintain proper timing on the Ford/Mazda 3.7 L engine. I was able able to complete a job that cost over $2000 at a dealer thanks to these tools. They have a special place in my toolbox for the next time her water pump fails.
