This Wheaton Boston round lab bottle has a soda-lime glass body, a black thermoset phenolic cap, and a cone-shaped LDPE polyseal cap liner. This lab bottle has a narrow mouth for substance control and containment. The soda-lime glass body resists heat, thermal expansion, and shock, and can be used for packaging some dry powders.. Its Boston round shape is used for applications that require a rounded body, short neck, and narrow mouth to store liquid samples and solutions, and dry materials. The black thermoset phenolic seal-lined cap secures contents to help prevent spills and evaporation. The cap's liner is made of LDPE (low-density polyethylene) molded in a cone shape that forms to the inside of the bottle's neck, providing a tight seal and a chemical barrier. This bottle comes with an adhesive hazardous communication label for content identification and safety information, which can be applied over the top of a closed lid to create a tamper-evident seal. The soda-lime glass conforms to United States Pharmacopoeia (USP) Type III requirements for solvent, chemical, and sample storage, such as some dry powder types, and use in dry-heat sterilization applications. This bottle is suitable for use in mixing and storing samples or liquids, among other applications.

I was surprised by the quality of these boston round bottles. I transferred alcohol, mouth wash, essential oils, and other homemade tinctures into these. I highly recommend these.

Good, thick and sturdy bottles. The polycone seal under the lids are great. They stand up to all of the chemicals that I've thrown at then so far including toluene, acetone, methyl ethyl ketone, ethanol, methanol gasoline, nitric acid, hydrochloric acid, hydrobromic acid, hydrofluoric acid, etc. Haven't found a chemical yet that will destroy these seals. Well worth the buy and I will continue to purchase these as needed.

Bottles aren't bad. Caps are ok, haven't had any leaks. But I do like vivaplex caps a lot better.

These were perfect for a craft project making potion lava bottles. Great size and easy to use. Bought some mini funnels to make it easier to fill. Will order again for the next event!

great for making up whiskey/whisky samples to share with your friends, comes with adhesive labels. The caps have the rubber gasket in them for a good tight leak proof seal and they also come with tamper proof adhesive bands.

These jars were recommended to me for use in making and storing extracts. They are a terrific size for sharing, storing in a spice cupboard. I designed, printed and glued on my own labels and gave homemade vanilla away for Christmas and the bottles helped the gift look quite professional. If anyone is wondering, I used Premium Madagascar Vanilla Beans (30+) 1/4 lb JR Mushrooms Brand for the vanilla extract.

The bottles may look small in the picture but they are large. They are a nice and thick glass with a secure cap. The item is great and if I could rate shipping I would give it 0 stars. It was shipped lasership and it took 3 days to get it when I get free 2 day with Prime, the driver never took it out of his car on the 2nd day when it was supposed to be delivered.
