I received the wheel in Los Angeles three days after ordering! Right to my doorstep, This is the second wheel of this brand that I received from this seller. This one went on a 1987 high Sierra Schwinn mountain bike. It’s the perfect replacement. The spokes are much stronger, the wheel itself is double walled and stronger. Also, the width is correct. I have a six gear Rear wheel and by taking the nut off and replacing it with a smaller nut. It was exactly the same as my old wheel the original, the other wheel. I’ve been using for a couple of years on a beach cruiser, same wheel, but coaster break and it works great. Also 12 gauge spokes. I highly recommend this seller and this company. These rims and wheels are made in the United States of America. I cannot say enough good things about their wheels. And for the price, OMG, much better than replacing spoke by spoke and old vintage bike wheel. That was what I was up against. My spokes, kept breaking. Also, I’m a little heavier than most riders and ride in a more upright fashion. Therefore, I’m putting a lot more weight on the back wheel. Much much more than a lighter person leaning over the front tire more. Anyway, I highly recommend seller and Wheel maker.

First of all, the seller shipped the wheel within an hour or 2 of ordering, and it arrived via USPS in 3 days, which is awesome.This is a very nice wheel. The best I've purchased and it looks great, with thick spokes and wall. I build and ride motorized bikes, and have no doubt this will be a durable wheel for that purpose. Also it is very straight.. perfect to the naked eye. I always use rim tape, but it's also nice the spoke screws are indented to virtually eliminate the possibility off puncturing the tube. As another reviewer stated, the only downside is the hub is pretty crunchy and needs a good greasing. And it seems to be more difficult than normal to take apart. So much so that I don't want to risk it until I can afford another in case I mess this one up. This is the only reason I won't give it 5 stars. But I also most likely will purchase again when I need another 👍

Fits my bike. Very sturdy wheel. I am impressed with the quality!Update- 3 years later, and several thousands of miles, and I am even more impressed. These wheels are beasts, very strong and still true. I am convinced that these are the best wheels available.

Bought this to replace a well used cracked wheel on my 9 yr old comfort bike. I ride every day so I wanted to find a wheel that would hold up to the poor road conditions I often ride on. The wheel looks great and seems to be more durable than the wheel I need to replace so I'm quite happy with the purchase.

I was really impressed by the quality of this wheel, especially at this price point. It also was a good match design wise with my Bontrager wheel that originally came with my Trek hybrid bike. It comes with its own skewer which is nice. It doesn’t come with a dust cover for the side opposite the gears, nor does it have a spoke guard, so you might need to order those if you can’t reuse them from another wheel.

I doubt it's even possible to find better freewheel compatible 26 inch rims than these are. I've personally never seen any. For a few bucks more than my WheelMaster single wall 519 rims cost, these have better braking, and look to be so much stronger that it's impressive indeed. This is an extremely attractive, strongly engineered wheel, and one which I have no doubt will be able to handle my current 200 lb body weight on a daily basis and then some if I get into serious touring someday. I had thought that the new 12 mm rim strips I already have for my WM 519 rims would work but they're too narrow. These are wider rims. After realizing this, I immediately took them to my favorite LBS to be trued and have rim tape installed (22 mm Velox).I then installed some new CST Salvo 26 x 1.75 inch tires. These particular tires were very difficult to mount on these rims, and they're even harder to dismount (not as bad with narrower rims). This is I think more due to the tire size than anything else. Later I read that "experts" say a 26 x 1.75 inch tire is actually less than 26 inches in diameter.Update: I've been using on these for two years now with zero problems to report. I've been running a 26"x 1.95" Kenda K838 on the rear wheel (easy to mount/dismount) but since I've never had a flat I haven't yet needed to remove the more challenging CST Salvo 26" x 1.75" tire on the front. So far so good!

I've had this wheel on my bike for 2 years now and has been through hell with it as far as roads go and to this day the wheel is still tru just like the day I first bought it. No spoke breakage whatsoever and I know the wheel holds up for us bigger riders because I am 288 with another 140 pounds of weight in lights on my bike and the wheel still holds up like a champ. I definitely recommend this wheel for any heavy riders who pop spokes on a daily basis!
