Brass and composite side, nice weight, handles well, and the brass is actually brass. No cheap smell either, just a solid hammer.

Better than I expected based on some of the reviews. Seems pretty good quality for Chinese. Perfect weight for gun work. Fit and finish look good. Good value for the cost.

Exactly what I was looking for. Works great for tapping smaller things into place, where a full size hammer or mallet would be too big to work well. Helped with putting fasteners in place for some shelves I was installing in the basement, and the nylon side kept them from getting marked up in the process. Definitely not a first hammer to buy for your home toolkit, but if you already have a standard tool set and want to do more DIY work, it will likely come in handy over time. `

Works good... when you hit things with it it makes them move.... what more could you want with a hammer?

Even though this was the best that I could find, it is not what I would consider perfect. The diameter of the head could be smaller, being a full one inch in diameter, but I do like that the head is a cylindrical shape instead of a taper as some hammers are. I have another hammer and I have to be really careful in driving the pins in and out for the mag catch on an AR as the hardened metal can easily contact the receiver as the heads are smaller than the diameter of the steel body of the hammer. I need a hammer for driving pins and such and even this is larger than it needs to be for that purpose but it is ok. I have deadblow hammers if I need more force without marring. I have ballpeen hammers if I need even more force. So why can't anyone make a smaller softfaced/ brass hammer? It works and is of good quality so I give it 4 stars.

It's a nice hammer. Weight feels good. You can screw the tips out. It has a Nylon and Brass side. I didn't find any problems with the hammer. Didn't really work for the purpose I bought it for which was to punch in new sights on my pistol. However, that's not a knock on this product. It's just that the sights are extremely difficult to punch in, so I had to get me a sight pusher tool haha.Great hammer, I'm sure I'll be using it in the future!

Works great doing what it's designed to. The heads started to unscrew after about an hour's use but a couple drops of Locktite solved that problem. It was such a minor problem I still give it 5 stars. I've used it another 10 hours, mainly with drift punches on steel pins and the heads haven't come lose. I'd buy another one but I don't think I'll ever have to do so.
