Great product. Better than the original in design and quality.

According to the Wheels Manufacturing website, the derailleur hanger 27 should fit a 2012 Fuji Nevada [...]. However this did not fit. I took the hanger to a bike shop and they compared it with the Fuji manufactured hanger 27 and there was a slight difference in the shape. The Fuji manufactured hanger 27 fits well.

Needed this after I discovered my rear derailleur was not out of alignment after the last time I dumped the bike. Perfect fit, and near identical match to the none standard original. The finish better match's my bike frames paint job as well. This has shown to be a bit sturdier than the original where needed but still pliable enough to protect the rear derailleur in an accident or tip over

I needed this for a neighbor's bike. This part is so clearly better made than what came on the frame at the time of purchase. I understand the point of a Derailleur Hanger being to sheer before damage is done to the frame or Derailleur, but wow the original was garbage cheap and more expensive than this one from Wheels Manufacturing. This one was clearly more precise, a better alloy and it was extremely easy to replace. A win all around. I'm able to fix it easily without too much cost and my neighbor can get back on his bike.

I'm currently upgrading my Dahon Vector to 20 speed. My bike does not come with RD hanger as it uses the Neos propietary rear derailleur. I already bought the original Dahon RD hanger from different online shop when I saw this on amazon while browsing for shimano rear derailleur. It looks the same in shape with the original RD hanger. I got curious and ordered it hoping it would match the size and shape of the original RD hanger for my Dahon bike. When I received the hanger, I compared it immediately with the original Dahon hanger. YES, they exactly match in shape except that that this hanger is screaming more quality. The cut is smoother, I would say precise too, it snugly fit into the frame way better than the original hanger. The original is new too, but there's a bit of play when fitted into the frame before I tightened the bolt. The dropout section is also 1mm thicker than the original Dahon RD hanger. I would buy this again if I need too, and I would recommend to my friends who are folding bike users too.

It was hard for me to find the right hanger for my Motobecane 550HT, but when I found this one, I decided to give it a shot. It was a near perfect fit. I had to press it to the frame a little because it didn't drop at quite the right angle, but it was by far the closest fit I've found. So far it has held up better than my stock one did!

Bought this to replace a snapped off a cheap rear derailleur hanger for a Mongoose Deception. 200 miles or so later, it is still going strong with no issues. Great product. If I ever have need, I will buy it again. This derailleur fits most Wal-mart bikes.

I built a cheap but very serviceable mountain bike with a Bike Nashbar aluminum frameset that cost $85. Everything about the frameset is fantastic, except the derailleur hanger that was included. Compared to a wet noodle, it's more flexible. The hanger (thus the derailleur) was constantly bending and coming out of alignment causing poor shifting, and not as the result of hitting it- just the force of the derailleur being pulled back and forth to shift bent it. Ugh. Your derailleur only has to be out of line by a fraction of a mm to cause bad shifting.I found this hanger online, held the stock one up to it's image at the Wheels website and it looked the same- took a risk and bought it. Sure enough, it's the same. Not only that, but it's world's stronger and stiffer. Not so strong that it won't do it's job- i.e., bend if I crash or lay the bike on the derailleur by accident, it's designed to be sacrificial to save your frame and derailleur. If it fits your bike (there's a LONG list of frames that it fits at the Wheels website), get it. It's a solid pro piece of gear.My stock one now rides in the toolkit on my bike as a spare, in case I crash or damage it in the back country. Every mountain biker who rides in the back country should carry a spare derailleur hanger (and master link for their chain, and, and...). It's cheap insurance that'll get you home.
