I almost gave it 4 stars, but other the a little expensive, there are no real cons in my book. The bearings spin freely with no noise and reduce peddle strain whilst attacking the Peloton on a steep climb with less then three kilometers to go!

Totally overpriced

This is my ‘go to’ bottom bracket for any bike build. Installation is a breeze; once it’s in place, it stays that way, without any creaking, ticking, slipping, etc. I’ve put tons of miles on several of these. They just keep on chugging along. Highly recommended.

This fixed a creaking bottom bracket! As it turns out the previous OEM one was a near exact thread-thru Wheels brand, so it’s possible that these wear out after a few years and need replacing. Uses a 16 notch BB tool to remove and install. Its helpful to have 2 of these to hold the other side. Also, you'll need a torque wrench to ensure proper torque of 35-50nm. You’ll also need a BB tool to press this into the frame, though I was easily able to use an adjustable clamp that is > 6inches when extended, a couple small blocks of wood, to protect the bearing and frame. Grease the threads (do NOT use thread lock) and apply grease around the cup that will fit snugly into the frame. Generally the male threads should be installed on the non-drive side, and the female threads on the drive side. Dont forget to clean the frame before installing, an alcohol based solution works well, i used window cleaner.

For the bottom bracket better than I had hoped. I would suggest buying 2 tools though to get it tighter properly. Great product !

Such a nice upgrade from the Praxxis that came with my Fuji Transonic. I rocked the stock set up for 3 seasons but they were noisy and not sturdy enough anymore. The BB along with the Ultegra cranks, cassette and chain have this riding better than new. Needed special cup remover to get that Praxis out but Wheels uses a more common standard so that nice.

This is the most clutch bottom bracket conversion out there. Was able to get shimano cranks on a PF30 Frame with no issue. Installing was a breeze. You may need two bottom bracket tools to hold both sides when tightening.

Build quality is great and I'd buy these again. There was one major flaw with BB I received: the bearings weren't pressed in to the adapter squarely. It took multiple tries of failing to install the crankset to realize this. Once I tapped the bearings in to the adapter squarely, the install went swimmingly.
