After painting this bathroom and hitting the ceiling a few times, I really wanted not only something to cover the mistakes but to make the bathroom really nice. I debated for months on getting foam tiles or tin because I thought they would look weird but I was very wrong. These are so awesome!!!They are light. Able to be cut numerous times to fit. With the right adhesive, they stick. I liked them so much that I am going to continue this pattern into the adjoining room which is much larger. So I'll post pictures of that when its done. The last finishing touch, which you can see that I started, is a trim that I also having to glue up because it doesn't stick very well. You can see that in one of the pictures. Anyways..great product. Highly recommend.

Sooo lightweight! Sooo pretty! This is one project I need no help with. I can do it myself. Easy to cut with sissors. I really enjoyed the new cealing in my bathroom. Larger projects already in the planning because they are so easy to work with. And look beautiful once installed.

This stuff is amazing! Easy to use, placed it over old popcorn ceiling and the transformation was beautiful!! I painted each piece with a small foam roller and let dry over night, then used Loctite power grab adhesive to place it, I did caulk the sides of the ceiling when I finished. Highly recommend these if you are wanting a great fix over old ugly ceilings!

I figured I would take a chance after reading some of the reviews and watching some youtube videos. These tiles are amazing! Make sure you use the glue they recommend, Akfix 310. I ran out with only a small section left, I tried a very well known glue from the big box store (LN) the tiles started falling off after about 10 minutes. I did a 12 x 13 room and used 7 tubes. Not a single tile fell off using Akfix 310 glue. The picture is prior to paint, or crown molding, but you get the idea. I did this mysef in a couple hours time. So easy to install!

Use a sharp razor to make cuts with the front side shiny facing you. Almost completed and cut the wrong end of the last piece and had to seam glue the piece back together and do it again. It's tricky cuz it's upside down as you cut and sometimes 2" end up off the wrong corner. Take your time. If you make a mistake just seam it back together with glue. Very forgiving, very little scrap, though plenty glue. Used 4 tubes Loctite Power Grab for 30results. Switched razor blade 3 times. Amazing results!

People complaining about the thickness of this product are missing the point. They are super light, easy to mount, and easy to cut. You slap a little mastic on (I used AcrylPro) from Home Depot....stick it up and move on to the next one. The finished result is really nice. Definitely plan on caulking seams and painting. Very happy with this product. Yes the markup for styrofoam sheets is crazy but when you consider how good the finished project looks it is actually a bargain...assuming you don’t pay someone to do this very simple install.

Did these on my bathroom shower ceiling due to having cut out the ceiling twice in the past couple years to fix plumbing from the bathroom directly above. The Sheetrock repair was cracking at the joints and looking lame 😒. Looks great and so easy to install. Painted after install which was simple since it's a small area. Bigger jobs i would definitely pre-paint. I don't foresee any issues with adhesive losing hold due to shower humidity and heat.
