Puppy ate the blinds at the rental so we needed new slats. The slats were a maybe a 1/4 inch longer than the original slats but since all needed to be replaced, this group was uniform.

You need to figure that one or two of these will be practice items just because if you are all thumbs like me you are going to mess things up. ASK ME HOW I KNOW !!! But get it right and you are going to be happy

Not easy to replace

Purchased these to fix a single vertical blind that wasn't opening or closing. Apparently, the vertical stem gear comb had broken and needed to be replaced. The gear combs can be purchased separately but I decided to buy carrier replacement which includes the gear comb inside the carrier. To remove the gear comb, simply pop off the vertical stem and the gear comb will be visible. There are a few videos on this segment and I recommend watching them to familiarize yourself with vertical blinds components. If your issue is similar to mine, it should only take a just a few minutes to replace. I was fortunate enough to stumble on a YT video that stated, the repairs can be done without removing the entire vertical blinds completely off the wall.
