Put on my wife’s Subaru. So much easier than doing it the “right” way. Highly recommend and would do again.

Easy install, but it didnt really fix anything. The top portion of the inserts is perfect. The lower 2 piece portion must be for some other car, it would need to be totally different for this to work correctly. You have to trim them to get it to install anyway. It doesn't work because the upward (car forward)motion is taken care of with the correct top portion, but the two lower prongs dont actually do anything for downward (reversing) motion and my diff still clunks & thuds. It was a slight improvement, but a waste of time and money because the return window closed & now im going back in there to install replacement (soft poly) bushings. Not worth it for 00-04 Outback, fixes half the problem, but still allows all the downward motion & clunking as before.

Works well to eliminate slop. Requires minor trimming to fit.

Fairly easy install, as long as you use the supplied grease. Took me about 45 minutes. Used a pry bar very carefully to make room for the insert. Well worth it. Rear end seems much more solid.

Very easy install, did it in less than 30min with my Outback on the ground (using an impact wrench). The bang for buck is really good, there was a large reduction in drivetrain lash and made the clutch pedal feel much better.

Great improvement and easy to install. Smoother transition between gears.Installed in a JDM Legacy GT-B BH5 (lower part needed to be trim .5").

Easy install - did slightly trim the square corners to get them to go in easier. 20 mins to put these in versus all day pulling the diff. Probably not the "right way" to fix it, but it worked on a 17 year old car with 230k miles on it. 2001 Subaru Legacy Outback 2.5 automatic.
