This is exactly as described and a perfect replacement for Trane owners with older controllers. Comes with all the needed jumpers, cables and screw needed to replace the older models. Arrived 2 days early to boot!

Furnace: Amana Air Command 80 GUIB900A30 / P1186404FThis was a direct swap in piece. The only change is that there is a different plug connection now, but not to worry, an adapter was included along with new self-tapping screws.There are four switches on this, as opposed to three on my old defective controller. I left them exactly as they came in the default positions. After attaching the wiring back in the same positions as on the old unit, securing it in place, and applying power, the furnace started right up and we have glorious heat again.

This module is bad right out of the box and there is no possible way to return it, no support from either Amazon or the seller, im out one hell of a lot of money, and the customer is still without heat. I have been a HVAC tech for over 50+ years, college educated, and even train guys to do controls etc., this module is bad right out of the box, and they will not let you complete the automated process with ai to return the item. There is no possible way to contact support, I've tried for two days, this is exactly why I hate getting parts on line, but the suppliers don't carry anything anymore, cause this is where everyone gets everything. Unbelievable.Really mad, out the money and have a disappointed customer who is suffering in the cold

The product works great! It wasn't working at first and I was racking my brain. I finally realized that I needed to close the furnace door because that triggers the switch to allow the furnace to turn on. I hope this helps somebody else out!

This model was suggested as a replacement to the main board controller 50A50 in my 25+ years old York 80 Furnace. My old controller board has RED LED as always ON and FAN would run continuously. So I ordered this new controller board and was able to replace it myself. I must have saved few hundred bucks in the process. New board fixed my issue which was awesome.since new board is bit smaller in size, I had to drill new mounting holes on the back plate.Smaller board also made cables placement and routing bit tight and bit challenging.That said, I was very happy with the outcome and would recommend this controller to anyone, if it's compatible with your old board.

After already paying $120 for the diagnosis and then quoted $560 for a replacement, I chose to DIY the replacement with this universal controller. I replaced an aging (24 years) White Rodgers 50A50-405 controlling my equally aging Trane HVAC. I struggled a bit with not getting 24V to the thermostat until I finally found the bit, specific to Trane units, about adding a jumper (included) to the 12-pin connector on page three of the manual. Everything worked perfectly, after that. $445 saved! Note, that, as a universal controller, it is unlikely to have the same form factor as what you are replacing so you will have to figure out how to mount it and maybe extend some wires (some additional jumpers are included with the controller for this purpose.)

Brought it for my old York furnace (25+ years) last month, when my original was working funky. It was not responding to the thermostat and furnace fan was on 24 x 7. After installation of White-Rodgers 50A55 the furnace work like a new one. Very pleased that I brought it. easy to install and works like a charm.
