I can do noodles here and it keeps them warm, but also I use it to do like my tofu pudding, Chia seed. I put her in the refrigerator and it keeps it so cold and nice.

I've had the pleasure of using this noodle bowl several times a week for a couple of months now and I love it every time. It is a good size for ramen+ (an average pack of ramen plus an egg, plus some mixed veggies). I use it in the microwave almost every time; it heats nicely and I can attest to it keeping things warm for a good amount of time, because things in the microwave are out of sight out of mind!I have been typically hand washing it, so I cannot attest to the durability in a dishwasher, but I have not had any problems, and I am pretty clumsy. I have knocked it up against the faucet a few times without cracking or chipping.I agree with other reviewers in that the one downside is that the round "handle" on the lid is shallow, less than a cm by my measurements. It definitely can be difficult to grasp, especially if there is steam or your hands are damp. But the lid it makes a lovely saucer.

It's a beautiful ramen/soup bowl. As I have experimented with cooking asian soups and ramen noodles I decided my effort need something with a little more than what is to me a cereal bowl. I love this. It will work well with my japanese spoons too!

Love the thickness of the bowl and the simply design. It deep enough to hold ramen and little extra fixins and cover was nice touch to keep something hot or out of it. Very well made. I recommend this bowl especially if you love ramen soup or soups.

I bought this item for my daughter who loves all things pink, breathes ramen, ( meaning she loves to eat it) and appreciates the beauty of Japanese style dishes.She loves it and has promised to be careful with it and looks forward to eating lots of yummy food in this bowl.

I was a little worried it might come broken but it was actually packaged very well! The only thing I wish was that the lid had a bigger lip on it to grab. Every time I grab it, it feels like it’s going to slip right out of my finger grips. Overall it looks and works great and would recommend getting it.

I knew right before I purchased it that this will be my favorite bowl for soups and oatmeal. It didn’t disappoint me. It keeps my food warm longer and the lid doubles as a small plate for a side dish or a spoon rest. The size is just right for one serving. I specifically bought this for making instant noodles, because I don’t like using the styrofoam cup/bowl that most instant soup comes with. Also bought a second one for my hubby. I recommend this bowl. Good quality, even tried cooking rice with it on med/low heat. I’m not saying you should try and cook rice with it too, but just want to share it. That’s how durable this bowl is.
