Replaced this in our rooftop air conditioner and it now runs as expected - the unit was producing an error code because the original sensor was bad, unit would just code instead of run - now the unit works again

The product works but the design is flawed. These sensors are designed to be push in between the fins of the coil so it can monitor the temperature of the unit. However, this sensor is about twice the diameter of the OEM sensor and there is no way to push it into the fins. Due the this the sensor is essentially useless as there is no way to mount it on coil to read the temp

This sensor corrected most of the AC problems. The unit stopped randomly shutting down and freezing up.

Purchased the freeze stat to replace a bad one, on my RV A/C. Had to replace the A/C anyway and the new A/C did not have one. Price and performance of product... Great.
