Tuner holes do not line up with original screw holes, srews are soft and strip easy. Might be ok for new build where you drill holes.

I had to replace the tuners on a Squier "40th anniversary" partscaster. Somebody replaced the stock Squier tuners with even worse tuners, which were barely turnable. They were like concrete. These Wilkinson tuners dropped in almost perfectly. Maybe a quarter millimeter off, but close enough so that I didn't have to do any drilling. I didn't have to replace the old bushings. The tuners turn just fine. Zero issues with tuning stability.

I consistently purchase Wilkinson products for the simple reason that the machine heads keep your strings in tune! They are a lightweight and well-made product! And whether they are the vintage tuning keys, which I am reviewing here, their hardtail bridges, their string ferrules, or even their strap buttons; you know you are getting great value for your purchasing power. I highly recommend Wilkinson products!

Very nice, simple, precise, and sturdy. I slid these directly into the existing ferrells on 3 Harley Benton headstocks. They're better than any stock machine heads I've ever used. Definitely an upgrade on any guitar with classic tuners from factory. Keeps pitch even after serious bending. These Wilkinson tuners are as good or better than many more expensive brands. Thank you.

Finally got around replacing the tuners in a 95 fender strat made in mexico. Orig tuners were ok but had some play in them. These do not, solid built. Easy to drop in. Shipped fast. Great price. Guitar stays in tune!!!! Excellent upgrade!!

First off, they look fantastic. I installed them on my 2012 Affinity Stratocaster (we’ll get to that) and they perfectly match the CBS era headstock. Tuning stability seems fine, if a little jumpy. However I did run into one major problem. The holes in the headstock were far too big, and the bushings that fit around the tuner shaft can nearly fall right through. I think I’m going to plug the holes with a dowel and re-drill them to fit the bushings, so we’ll see how that pans out. Overall, they look great, and seem to be pretty solid, but they don’t fit my particular guitar, but that might not be an issue on newer models.

So, I can't officially substantiate this but these came in a box that looks exactly like the box that Gotoh tuners come in. It's a pretty distinctive plastic box. The tuners look exactly like Gotohs of the same vintage style. When I research companies that manufacture tuners for Wilkinson guess what one of the three manufacturers is? You guessed it, Gotoh. These are half the price and the quality is solid. Do not hesitate to buy these.
