I installed these to replace the cheap ceramic pickups on my "Chender" Fender knock-off. They have a very bright, punchy sound. If your looking for a lot of bottom end, these arent it, but if youre looking for a midrange punch to cut through a live stage mix, these do the job

I bought a cheap jazz bass preamp for my Squier Jaguar bass but didn't like the original pickups so I was looking for a cheap alternative to Seymour Duncans and after reading reviews and listening to YouTube reviews pulled the trigger on these Alnico p/j pickups and wow what a difference they sound bright and beautiful with a nice growl love it can't put my bass down now for half the price of Seymour Duncans you can't go wrong

I have an old Johnson bass that I have been playing for a while now. It just never sounded as good as my friend's slightly more expensive bass. I needed to change the strings anyway, so I installed these pickups at the same time. What a game changer! These sound much better than the cheap-0 factory pickups. If you're looking to improve an inexpensive bass, this is a great place to start.

Muy buenos micrófonos relación calidad precio hace poco se los instale a mi bajo y quedó con un sonido brutal a comparación de los originales que traía este, cabe aclarar que es un bajo gama baja pero con estos micros subió un poco el nivel los recomiendo.

Molto soddisfatto, come per altri pickup alnico Wilkinson che ho preso per Stratocaster anche questi per Jazz Bass confermano la buonissima qualità e l'ottima resa sonora pari ai marchi blasonati, ma questi hanno il costo nettamente inferiore e nulla da invidiare, li consiglio sicuramente.

These sound great! Only giving a 4-star because the springs they come with are useless - you will need to either repurpose you old pickup's foam/spring or buy new ones.
