This is a really useful addition to my sewing box. The light helps enormously especially when threading needles with a smaller eye.As I get older it’s really frustrating when doing such a simple task takes longer to do than it used to. We take our eyes (amongst other things) for granted so anything we can do to make life easier I’m all for it. Not bad value for two in a pack. Just hope they last longer than the ordinary needle threaders.

I must admit I ordered this with some scepticism, since it appeared to be built on the same principle as the flimsier version- dozens of which we have all destroyed quite quickly. However, I don’t know how the manufacturers have managed it, but it will withstand quite hard use, and even when it does not at first appear to succeed, with perseverance will in the end get your difficult thread through. I’m very impressed.

I didn’t like it at all. The batteries are dead. The batteries are more expensive than the product.

The item is easy to hold and has a built-in light which makes threading a needle easier than using the conventional small threaders usually included in sewing kits. It is functional and is a good value for the money.

So nice when threading my needle got several to give as gifts when you cross stitch getting those threads through are rough or when I’m fixing puppy toys that have been chewed up

Love the idea with the large thick easy to hold handle plus light but they just didn't work for my intended use which was to thread my sewing machine needle. My machine has a built in needle threader but it is just as difficult for my old eyeballs as threading it without. I had hopes that this threader would be a solution for me so I don't spend a half hour threading the dumb needle whenever I need to change thread but it is just too big for my machines needle. I even tried it in some different sized machine needles and it doesn't fit in any of them. It just will not fit through the eye of the needles which makes is useless as a machine needle threader. Perhaps the seller needs to remove 'machine' from the listing because it appears to be just too big to fit machine needles. I will still use them with other needles for hand sewing or other stitching just not for my machine.So 3 stars because I do like the concept. They are much easier to hold than those tiny standard needle threaders and the light is great for my old eyes but they just won't work for my machines. I can still use them for other sewing needles.
